I don't know about the power fc i was hoping you were going to leave the Simtek in there!
Thanks again Simon for a interesting day and sorry it had to be my car that caused you a headache.
Do you think it is worth me getting hold of another turbo or think mine will be ok for a bit ?

also what booost were you holding? did you go for a safer map?
ive booked mine in for next month so need to get an idea

at 342bhp / 385lb/ft @ 1.5 bar. Changed the turbo to a VF43, STi intercooler, full decat, ILFR7H Spark Plugs, k&n apollo cai kit. The power kicks in a bit later than the td04 but when it does it's fookin awesome Stuart.

me....nuts???? i was well chilled yesterday cos the medication was working all good ha ha!!!

interesting too hear tho that on the rollers yours(l70byb) peaked at 1.4 then dropped off?? mine was doing this and also the rally car,we bothed changed actuators and it was still happening?
mine too was peaking at 1.6 on the road home and held there no problem?
we will get there in the end...

. Sounds abit strange couple of the cars doing that!! Turned mine down straight anyway to 1.0 bar as I haven't got the ***** to drive it to hard at 1.4-1.5 bar as haven't got the cash yet for a new box!!! (YET)

sod turnng it down mate...aint you got a 6 speed in yours then?? hopefully have me ppg next cpl a weeks so my boosts is only gonna get worse ha ha!!!

I've got ninja sports cat,afterburner cat pipe and centre section with STI Genome back box.cosworth panel filter thats all..
it took Simon about 15 min. on the rolling road and a bit of road abuse
and that was it..
went today for 4 Wheel Alignment at Mocom racing (thanks Zak)
and what can I say..goes well...
my wallet will suffer on Autobahn next week..can't wait.
and yes I went for safe map...
