Thank you for the help guys. I was out today and it is a wrx sti not a uk300 as the v5 doc says it is. This was a error by the dvla which caused confusion for the dealer. We are chuffed to bits with the car and hoping to get lots of pleasure from it.
Am wanting to put an induction kit on it but is it as easy just to put it on or is it more complicated than that? Thank you again!

great choice of car i have an 04sti ppp ,, i wouldnt worry about power mods yet theres more than enough to scare the pants of ya just get used to it cus it will scare you if you dont
