When did you last have a vehicle accident?

I bought a civic when I was 18(3 and a half years ago). 6 Days later I rolled it in the middle of the road. Lost the back end in the wet and wasn't awake enough to catch it! I was in 5th gear at about 80. If I'd been in third flat out I would have been fine.
That wasn't a good time at all. My parents were already fed up with me, and I had just thrown away £3500 in six days - I was third party insured.

Coming up to 3 years since my last prang. Lost control of it on a newly resurfaced 'B' road (loose stone chippings on tar) and slid sideways into a tree. The impact spun the car round with such force I hit my head on the window and was knocked out.

I hadn't been involved in an accident for more than 20 years until...........
18th Feb this year
My company car is in the ditch on the left of picture.
Lagacy driver failed to stop at a stop junction.
Both cars were write-off's and I missed my flight to Hong Kong

Only two real bumps Ive been in were
*My mate had a Mk1 Golf GTi (app. 1991 and still has it now....although had about 3 shells) and we were out in a convoy. Thought he was clever and decided to hand brake turn in front of one of our mates (Mk3 XR3), hand brake didnt work that well and we ended up getting dragged toward the opposite side ditch. We stopped facing the opposite way thinking we were ok but only a bit of the verge was holding us. A couple of seconds later we were in the ditch on the roof.
*Second one was when I was about 22 I had bought myself a Golf G60 Rallye and spent a few bob on it making it a bit quicker (the were only something like 165bhp as standard). One Sat night we were driving around Harrogate and thought we'd go for a thrash. As it was late I thought it acceptable to drive fast in the 30 (Valley Drive), went round a corner thinking 4wd would make it (thick t**t) and took out 3 parked cars.....due to being a complete ***** I wasnt wearing my seatbelt and went through the windscreen......caused myself some nice head and chest injuries.
Claim to fame is that the round a bout that is on the junction with Valley Drive and Harlow Moor Road is due to me.
