She most definitely wont

Some of you are surprised that i am helping my son....

6 months ago he was sharing a place with a friend. The young lad he was sharing made friends with some pie keys and they robbed the flat and beat them both up. Jack ended up in hospital with a tear in his liver. he was ok and didn't need surgery but it could have been worse.

About a month later they were robbed again, this time it was Asians, they were looking for drugs and money. Since then Jack has been sleeping rough.

So, i have helped my son. I don't mind, he needed it. He has had to use any wages he had to replace everything he had so he is pretty skint at the moment.

I didn't expect him to keep his job as he was sleeping wherever he could, not a nice way to live but its what he had to do.
He could so easily have gone off the rails or given up hope and ended up on the dole but he carried on and i am proud of him for that

If it was easier to get reasonably priced housing then i bet there would be less teen pregnancy's. There is no help for kids that want to get on in life and make something of themselves.

He is joining the Royal engineers, then after 20 years i can relax

He is paying £340 a month for this room in a shared house. Its a lot but it seems its about the going rate these days.

So you are saying that the relationship with your son is so bad that he preferred sleeping rough than living at home?

I am not being smug but I have a 21 year old who lives happily at home with no real restrictions and hence has say, an extra £400 - £500 per month to spend/save or whatever.

My son's mates are always coming over but I could spot a pikey from 3 roads away and action would be taken I can tell you.

I think on the positive joining the Royal Engineers will be just the ticket.
