They're only cheap, get one. Probably the best value for result mod you can do.
With the AST's and ARB's on my 260bhp WRX I frequently humbled cars with up to, and occasionally over 400bhp. Power is nothing without control, and this set up will give you control like you won't believe. Learn how to use it well (seek out Roadcraft performance driving tuition) and you will see corner entry speeds easily into 3 figures and yet it will feel safe and composed. The big power boys bragging on here about there latest numbers, whether it's bhp or money spent simply can't keep up with a car with a sorted chassis. The more they try, the more likely they are to crash

I like you!!!!
BMW forums name is "Where power meets control" Imagine the power of a dragster in a F1 car! Brilliant in a straight line, huge BHP, carnt even get around a corner!
So apart from insurace issues, warrenty issue, could still be a good deal?

It's certainly a good car by the looks of it, but you may be in a good position to fight for some money back due to them misrepresenting the cars actual specification. See how they react on the phone when challenged over the Sale of Goods Act, and mention Trading Standards, then put it in writing and see how they react. Then consider a solicitors letter to really scare them if they try it on. They have lied and you now face some considerable expense to put the car to the spec they said it was in the first place, and that is wrong and deserves compensating.
If I were you, before spunking money on any toys and trinkets, get a main dealer or reputable specialist to do a full service inspection of the car to identify any possible points of concern, and anything else which may not be OE spec.
