My post was a little more aggro then I meant it to be.. but it is something that makes me *so* angry!

All it then takes is for someone to say "its just a car", before I run over one of their kids in it.. after all, they can get another one of those for free. Unlike my door.

(Can you work out the childless grumpy old *******? )

Said as someone with a lovely car park ding in his front passenger door that's right on the door beam.. I'm sure they thought they were gentle as well - Subaru bodyshop £500+ to fix, Local bodyshop £300+ to fix, or a salvage door - £100+. All because of some other... individuals... utter lack of care, or total disregard at paying attention to what they were doing.

I know Neil and his Mrs personally and know they both aren't the types to just go mental at any old rubbish. I also know that Neil takes pride in his car and under bonnet chrome bits, eh, cheque in the post mate

I wouldn't necessarily fly off the handle, but if in a similar situation I would certainly make my displeasure known (especially with the tin foil French car bodywork)

My guess would be the OP didn't park really close to anyone !!

Its handy if you have got a trolley jack. You can jack the rear wheels up and push them out of the way, even leave them in an embarrassing place to be parked if they are persistent!

came back to a motorway services car park to find the door of an audi resting and marking my camper van. def had made a mess.

spoke to the woman in the audi- she wasn't interested at all, or offered anything

so I threw my passenger door straight into her brand new audi door and smiled and drove off. one big heavy VW van door.

snap eh ?
