BTTT

In the vain hope that Chris B or one of his mates actually read this.

Ker, if you do go down the Police route they will contact PayPal and get the sellers address which they will then pass onto the local constabulary in his area.

lee i dunno why paypal said they cant do anything,
i sold an item through sn and totaly forgot to send the item and then it went a bit hecktick here and didnt log on for a few days when i did i seen my pm's and i seen that the buyer informed paypal that the goods were not recived and they put a hold on my money it even put me into neg-balance, i sent the items the next day and the buyer told paypal he had them and the money was released to me again, so i think you need to dig a bit on there

hope you get it sorted soon fella,

hi fella paypal, found in mine and kerris favour but they were unable to claim the money from chris's account...this makes me think he knew it was gonna happen and wiped it clean....or he closed it down

they have said unless chris puts the cash back in there, there is nothing they can do...

kerri is off to the police today to put a complaint in...

did you fund your paypal with a credit card ?

you can contact the credit card company and they can issue a charge back, paypal have no option but to pay back the money to the credit card company then it is down to them to chase the seller for the funds removing yourself from the equation.

always fund paypal payments with a credit card !

In relation to newport white scooby, did you have your paypal account set up to pay with it via your bank account rather than a card, cause i think that way they will take monies from your bank, but if using credit card they cannot take from that to refund from an empty paypal account.

he has probably emptied it/transfered the money to his bank then closed the paypal account and removed his details

good luck tho bud

This behaviour cannot be tolerated. Loads of genuine buyers and sellers affected by this.

It might seem petty but he had the cheek to leave me feedback saying I was "Very unreasonable"

After waiting over a month for my bits to arrive, half of it was missing and not in the condition he described,he promised to send me the missing bits but never did ! I think i'm entitled to be pi55ed off with him.

Not quite sure what he's playing it now as he assured me he doesn't scam people !

doesn't look like he is going to show his face, i would write to PAYSCAM and tell them that you are going to take legal action against him and them (for not protecting your payment) and want the addressess of both parties to send the legal documents to.

personally i have found PAYSCAM a shower of sh*t and as much use as a chocolate fire guard, the customer service agents (i use that loosely) follow a script even if it contradicts the situation and will not steer from that course regardless.

i say you have given this guy more than enough time and opportunity to sort this out.

as you know im having some issues right now getting something i have paid for. hopefully the lights i bought will be delivered soon as has been promised. if they are not then f**k it, i'll just go to the bank and police.

dont waste any more of your time on this idiot. get the police and your bank involved and hopefully they will make sure he will get whats coming to him. if someone can rip you off and take the **** then you owe them nothing.

Probably eating a very large slice of humble pie and wondering why they made themselves look like twits (the non offensive version).

Get the police involved and even if you cannot get your funds back at least he might at least end up with a criminal record.

indeed.

fortunately the issues i was having got sorted as the guy sent the lights.

if he hadn't i would have done exactly the same.

let the police deal with it now. you've done more than is reasonable to try and bring it to a mutually satisfactory conclusion.

good luck

I am glad you are finally getting somewhere with this, it is just a pity that Chris B or his 'mates' did not have the cahoonas to come on here and justify their earlier statements.

I hope this muddy funster gets the full weight of the law put onto him and ends up with a criminal record.
