The beauty of the S206 is the power available without having to twist the turbo. If you're going for over 550 bhp then you might as well just fit the RCM twisted kit, and go for a GT35R.
you will be able to show what that can do soon too then alan, eh?

What would the differece be like in lagg terms if a twin scroll could make 450bhp. Im looking on the above mapps on the lastest results and at 3600 revs my t25 makes 360ft trq and 350bhp standard where as the above is 180ft trq and 120 bhp seems like it cdnt live with me on the street ..

Or am i missing something im after same figures but lower down on rev range is this possible alan ...

PS ym cheers

The graphs you're looking at from our dyno are from a 2.0 and a 2.1.
The 2.5 can make a fair bit more earlier obviously. Don't go from dyno graphs to gauge spool anyway, as that can be misleading, you'd be better off talking to others who have the turbo fitted. Of course, the turbo you have right now can't make 450 bhp, so fitting a bigger turbo to get the top end power you're after is bound to lose you something at the bottom end. If you're talking about tracking the car, the S206 would leave the turbo you have for dead.

May tinker with the idea of a meth or E85 mix in the new year and see what it does, although it feels fast enough as it is

What kind of difference would you expect with a 20% mix compared to a 10% mix Martyn?

I'm writing up a list of demands to send you for when my bugeye has been run in

Would look to gain 5-7 % more power from 10% meth and 10%+ from 20% meth.
Your car is driving beautifully !

Argh! I've got Alan telling me about the perfect weather he's seeing while running it in, and now you telling me it's driving beautifully! All I've got is no turbo, and lots of snow, ice, and wind!

But seriously, if there are no disadvantages to running 20% compared to 10%, it sounds like the way to go.

Just wanna thank Martyn for sorting out the idling probem today, it's a lot smoother now

Had a bit of a map tweek today too, produced 475bhp and 460 torque and it seems to go on forever Next on the mods list is a Bosch 044 pump and swirl pot so Martyn can up the boost again!! Can't wait!!

Thanks again guys

Yep, that's mine. Hopefully it's got all the right bits and pieces to hit the magic 500!

I'm really looking forward to swapping back Alan's green baby for my blue baby

It doesn't convey how well it drives! really sweet on part load, just squeeze and it's there.

It must feel awesome not to have to 'wait' for the boost to arrive. A real proper tune for the road!

I bet it's as satisfying as hell?!

Redline Mag (IIRC) mentioned in an article on the S206 that TT are developing a smaller unit that is OE fit and likley to be 400-420BHP. Is there any more news on this ?
