Mus's ? Could be interesting as that one has the cutback turbine wheel intended for 2.5 use. The car in question had stock version 4 WRX heads and cams and the engine was built in 2005. Fuel was VPower only, running 2 bar peak torque 1.8 bar peak power.

Hi all as Martynj Knows ive been building a 2.35 with 1 of his S206's with CB blades its a V6 Classic Wagon and heres the initail results, Remember its still been run in just needed a mega safe map to do so,Duncan (racedynamix) came up last week and spent a few hours on the dyno at Motoscope Northallerton sorting the map so the car was usable to get sum miles on it. I'm running 2.35 with V8 2ltr Avcs heads which still arnt turned on so its running (i think duncan said 23' retarded cam timing) and max of 1.3bar of boost at the mo, syvecs ecu, running newage manifold with top feed 550cc injectors and standard fpr, newage coil on plug, Tubular headers, till its run in enough to fit adjustable Fpr and bigger injectors and turn the boost up, heres the intial graph

Hows the running in coming along? Looking forward to seeing what you get out of 2.35. Took mines to Zen's last week for a little check over and iron out a few little niggly issues. Paul gave the map a quick tweek and run the car on the dyno. Results were up, finding a few more ponies. Its now 490bhp and still on v-power only. Martyn has a copy of the graph which I'm sure he'll post up.

Hi mines done about 1000 miles now running in at approx 400bhp lol, Ive been buzy altering and tyding up sum bits n pieces,3" intake hard pipe fitted, 11mm RCM manifold spacers, 1000cc injectors now in with a 044 bosch fuel pump (intank) fuel pressure reg fitted and all the wiring for the vvt heads is done, I'm meeting duncan (racedynamix) down at Zens on thursday to activate the avcs heads and do the full power map so shud be fun i'll post the graphs up either thursday nite or fri and no dowt martin will have a fone call during the day lol to let him no the progress cos he's itching to find out

Hi Bill got the avcs heads sorted and the idle air so it ticks over sweet now, need decent fuel in it I had a mix of 95&98 and by the time we'd sorted the rest and get the 1000cc injectors etc sorted the charge temps were to high so called it a day at approx 425bhp and 400lbft on the dyno, I need a bigger intercooler to get the charge temps down to sensible, but fk me its awrsum the 400lbft at 4300rpm it just go's proper ballistic rite up to the limit, Theres Lots more to come from it just needs a few more mods for it all to flow together rite,
I'm using it on sunday at the scoobyshoot out so that shud show how well it go's
cheers drew

Depends what size fuel injectors you have and what fuel pressure you are running them at. If you are running 3 bar plus base pressure then it may be an idea to uprate the pump feed to give it the best chance.

As a rule of thumb I avoid running the Walbro GS341 and 342 at anyting over a combined 5.0 bar. ie Boost plus fuel pressure of 5.o bar.
So 3.1 bar F.P. And boost limit is 1.9 bar and very preferably much less.
More usually 3 bar fuel and only 1.5-1.7 bar boost. After that I am looking at a better pump.

Put my S206 on my 2.0 this weekend, initial impression is that it is rather laggy compared to the 321T on there previously. Full boost is not available until circa 4500 revs. However car is yet to be mapped for the turbo so I will I will hold out on final judgement.

Not sure if issue with dyno or restriction in engine but peak power early at 5500rpm and held to 6000rpm then no amount of playing will make it hold power higher
Dyno more used to diesels lol
442bhp on 98ron safe timing

It was a pleasure for me and my friends in Austria to have such a mapping magician over here in Austria!
Everybody was happy with the work done by Simon and the results were really great!
Iīm more than happy even that I did not break into the 500bhp, but the car feels so rapid and fast now, I have to learn driving it at the limit again!
Hopefully my satisfaction for power is over for some time now!
Here is the dynoplot of the car with maybe slipping rearwheels, as we had to loose the rearstraps holding the car down on the dyno a bit, so the middlesection does not bump onto the propshaft!
The boost was 1.75 -1.8bar and you can see dropping the powerband very bad, even before it would reach itīs awaited peak.
The first on was on 98RON fuel and produced quite good power and the second run was not much better, but after solving the problem with the stock newage BOV leaking, it made 2.05bar on the street and didnīt feel like dropping power after 6000rpm, more like going to the sky with the power to 7500rpm!!!
I want to thank all guys involved in my project: Simon@JGM for mapping and advice, Alan and Martyn@Enginetuner for supplying the S206, Harvey@HarveyPerformance for supplying the Hybrid FMIC and even if he doesnīt read it my great mechanic, who did the most work on my car!!!
