These are still available and still doing the numbers, both of these are running meth mixes and are on Enginetuner 2.1 stroker motors originally built over 4 yrs ago.
Interesting back to back here with the 18G this one was originally fitted with. Very little loss low down for a bag more power up top

what would you typically need to do to freshen up a 2.1 that's seen about 30K miles at 450bhp.
(about 500 miles track time... mostly motorway miles sadly)

just out of interest... how much is a rebuild on one of your 2.1 stroker kits Martyn? has anything changed in the build spec in the last couple of years?

The spec has changed over the years due to the availability of newer components, we have far more piston and rod options now.
As far as the rebuild goes, it depends on the rate of wear of the bore, but I'd assume at most a set of bearings and a rebore to the next size and new pistons.
We'd need to see it of course to be sure.

1.7 bar Simon, didn't push these any further than that as the owners goals had been achieved.
I know what you mean, for a 400bhp turbo you'd be a little disappointed in the spool, but for a 500bhp hybrid it's up there with the best.
Funnily enough, one of these is running the turbo you mapped in Austria

So how much are these costing now? There was mention of a price increase in 2010 but no new cost.
And is a 10mm rise enough for the inlet to allow a suitable intake pipe?
Many thanks,
Paul.

I'll confirm the price ASAP.
Yes a 10mm rise is fine and I'd recommend the Perrin inlet hose as the best solution.

Price for the Billet version is £1200 + vat inc the fitting kit and free delivery which compares quite well with the other 450+ bhp units available.
The downpipe is still £180 + vat + £25 carriage.
You can of course choose to modify your existing downpipe should you have a good welder locally.

More S206B figures.
Enginetuner 2.1 equipped Blobeye running Alcatek management.
Vpower and 20% meth maps.

If you're looking for over 500 on straight Vpower I wouldn't recommend either, fit a twisted kit and a 35R and keep the boost around 1.5 bar.
Unless you have a CDB 2.5 of course in which case fit the S215B which is a cutback turbine wheeled version of the S206 meant for engines larger than 2.1.
