Had a passenger ride in Bill Sandhu classic Impreza wagon yesterday with the S206 turbo fitted, his basic spec is a built 2.5 litre, ppg gearbox, solaris ecu etc, Must say i was very impressed with this turbo, seemed to feel a lot smoother and hold boost across the rev range better compared to his previous GT30 which always seemed to feel like there was a bit of lag then a big dollop of boost and then tail off slightly(still made a very fast car), where as the S206 seemed to have a awesome spread of power and for a bigger turbo I didnt notice much turbo lag. Feels awesome now, quickest Impreza ive ever been in!!!!

Are you holding out for 400 bhp version as an equivalent to an MD321h?

Further results on the S206 this morning. A customers car this time round with stock Sti4 heads and cams and an Enginetuner built 2.1 stroker.

Totally. A real 'straightforward' and relatively affordable way to get to around 480-520 (depending on mapped fuel choice).

Martyn, if the motor was a built, 'normal' 1994cc displacement, but all supporting mods were exactly the same as that customer's - assuming any/all of them would also be suitable for the 2.0, of course - roughly what would it make on the same V-Power + 10% meth? How much less torque would it make, compared to the c.492lb ft of your 2.1?

As always, it is difficult to say with any degree of certainty.
We are doing one very shortly so should no for sure then but my best guess would be similar power, but 30-40lbft less torque based on the results we are seeing on the Evos.
We are also building an STi8 with a 2.1 stroker and S206 at the moment and I am really excited about seeing what we can do with another 400-500rpm of spool with the VVT.

Seriously now, i'm deeply considering....

If i were to have the 2.1 with on my sti8 keeping my heads, the s206 turbo, how long would it take to build and how much all in all? (Parts + Labour + VAT)

PM if you like
