One strange thing though. I thought the WORLD was in this crisis together, and the UK didnt have its own issue. Now you say we can escape it. Which would indicate we DID have some control over getting in it in the first place..... Oops!

It started in the US housing market.
Brown has taken steps to get out of the mess the world plunged us into - looks like they are beginning to work too!

Out of interest, is it not the Chancellor who is responsible for money and finance in the country? I know the PM plays a part, but im sure most of the incentives and ideas announced came from the Chancellors mouth. Are you suggesting he is just a puppet?
