Bug vs Blob...help.

Just an update.
Been to view a couple of blobs recently and they turned out to be complete sheds. Mechanically quite sound from what I could tell, no leaks but the owners should have been shot for the bodywork. I guess that's a hazard of living in the countryside and pulling into the bushes for tractors though. Anyway, search continues but after some consideration I am opting for an STi. Like said before and many thanks to all of the replies, I am likely to spend alot more in mods upgrading a WRX...much much more than the extra £2k to buy one and £400 to insure one.

hey bud check out Subaru New Age Owners Club as we have specific info for New Age models over there with a number of blob and bugeye owners

Thaks for those two sites and i'll get in touch with Rich next week and see what he can get/has got.
Just a quicky while I have my own thread, which BOV's do you use? From my experience, fully atmos actually hinders performance while fully recirc works the best but with little or no sound (CAI dependant). Are 50/50 valves favoured? I use Forge at the moment on my Audi S3 lump and it has proved to be very good, albeit a closed loop recirc. I would like a bit of sound though of course
