The burden of proof goes the other way, we could all just as easily say "Spoon is the guy, prove otherwise!".
I'm not sure that there is any way that someone can prove that they are not someone else, maybe a photo ID showing the name is different. If the names are the same the only way to prove it would be to have someone go with him to the bank in question and compare signatures between his ID and the bank account. Even that is not concrete and would require everyones consent.

Anyway, I hope you get your money back, I didn't. I can't even approach my little scammer friend without being arrested myself apparently. That is if I knew where he was now.

I'm just saying you can't say someones' guilty until proven innocent, but if someone really wanted to prove innocence that would be how.
I'll let Harry007 respond to why he has e-mail addresses with both Malik and Ahmed as last names.

I think the post from me fellow countryman Jamz has swayed my view a little. If this guy Harry has nothing to hide and he has extended an open invitation to ask him questions to clear his name then I dont think he will mind answering a few questions by phone.

If he is innocent and has only been caught up because of a similar name then it is very unfortunate, but I'm sure he won't mind answering some questions you might have.

What was amusing is when I sold the car, it went to an asian lad, and the only this which concerned him was when he saw the previous owner was asian on the V5!
Hope the scum in question in this thread gets identified, and gets some street justice anyway.

I would rather send you the paypal payment and then instead of you coming al the way down to London/Slough to collect the ecu, just arrange to meet up somewhere and then I can collect from you. That way we save on DHL charges etc

I shall see. I'm not there till monday/tuesday next week. Thats why I use paypal mate (security) I sell and will continue to sell parts. Im legit and not going anywhere.

Hey, if the police are reading this it is a simple matter of walking into the Halifax bank and asking them for information linked to an account number (warrant required I guess). It seems like whom ever is the culprit is linked to several problems in the past that have been unresolved, so it is worth your time!
Harry007 I doubt you are being framed. Can you state what your actual name is and address some of the issues people have brought up in previous posts. I think at this point it is in your best interests so that we can hopefully move on.

I am off and going to bed. I can hardly believe my own eyes as to what the hell has happened!? As said before, I am not taking any risks, I've informed the police and my bank (whom have cancelled my cards) and will be keeping close eye on my accounts etc.
I have never ripped anyone off or scammed anyone. If I have prove it!?
I am a full working class person, working monday-friday. I dont have any motivation or interest in scamming anybody!
I've been on this forum for 2yrs +. Did something hit my head and I suddenly decided to scam somebody in canada randomly. Think about it, think hard.
I dont care about the other threads about me, half a exagerated and the others simply not true.
Anybody claiming to know my address, pm me the address and I will confirm wether its me or not. I believe in security aswell and I will not be posting any address or ID etc randomly, because that is simply further exploiting my details on the internet!!!
