2) date and time you reported it
3) officers name who took your details
4) the crime reference number you were given
Then doubters can check to see whether your statement is in fact true that you have logged a complaint with the police.
Unfortunately ip address matching wont necessarily show because any fraudster can have access to more than one broadband line where they can post from different ip addresses with different user names. I could create 2 new accounts right now from different ip addresses I have access to and there would be no way to match them to my current user name so very easy to do.

Harry has always been a bit shady on here and has always defended himself. I'm not saying he's a scammer but he didn't inspire confidence when I was trying to buy something from him so I went elsewhere. I know Ian Godney had issues with him with some Brembo's he'd sold which weren't as described and he failed to respond 
If somebody is framing him it's for a reason I'd say.....
Sorry Haroon if you are also a victim here but with the amount of threads there have been about you I'd say there is no smoke without fire and you'll always be in the firing line.

Its glaringly obvious that its Harry007 doing the scamming..
Now he is trying to wiggle,if he didnt answer on here it would look like an admission of guilt..

hahahaIs there some sort of iffy garage up in Keighley, that sells shoddy jap imports ?
Every now and then you get a thread on this and other sites about someone popping up to see a car advertised by these guys, that turns out to be a different car, thats dodgy, over priced, and rubbish ?

does really put me off getting anything off here, i suppose i'd just have to judge it on how genuine i thought the person was
seems a conman though, and conmen will always protest innocence, because they are conmen
the only way to get rid of him is if people off here stop buying, though presumably he'll set up another name and try and keep going

Dont know if its another scammer but on piston heads theres a guy selling scoob spares/parts, goes by the name Matt but his email is addressed as Imran khan and his mail addy is big_imran hotmail so maybe another ???

I would just like to add that I was part of the Mirrors group buy, once it was said that the fitting wasn't great I did tell him I had no time to mess about redrilling holes and stuff and he refunded me the next day.

On this basis I have pointed the OP to the websites used to gather the information, which give a residential address, land line and mobile numbers for a Mr Haroon Malik who is using one of the email addresses quoted in the MLR thread.
@OP - did you call those numbers yet??? What outcome?

no need mate - he seemed to think I was putting his family at risk by passing on details. If he gave me details that matched what I had then I would not have passed anything back.
If he has told me lies, that is fine, but becasue the numbers dont match, he knows I have passed over what I have.
If he is being straight he has nothing to worry about as the details passed on wont be his, if he is chancing it, there is a good chance the details passed on are his in which case the OP can get in contact.

I have not called anyone yet, I was waiting to see how that all shook out. Someone external to this site has promised me some additional information that will be very helpful to me by end of day tomorrow. If that falls through I will take the morning off and start calling Haroon Maliks.

Honestly, on every forum and on Ebay, EVERY time someone gets ripped off it's by a Pakistani isn't it?
Anyone who has tried to sell phones or other decent good on Ebay will back me up on this too.
Considering that they form a small percentage of the population the amount of scams/rip-offs that are by them is MASSIVE.
If all things were even then you would never hear of them scamming/ripping people off because there are so few of them compared to other nationalities. The fact you ALWAYS here of it shows just how many of them are scamming.

Apart from that there are hordes of Nigerians trying to scam me via email on a daily basis. Unfortunately for them their command of the English language is much worse than mine and I can spot them a mile off

Well my recent identity theft is down to asians in Manchester and apparently made the credit card company security team laugh hearing the recordings of the crook impersonate me with a strong asian accent. They did a number of credit cards and identities all at the same time, registered them all to the same address in Manchester and then spent them all in the same shop at the same time which is also alleged to be involved in the scam. Don't sound particularly intelligent criminals registering all the cards to the same property and spending them all in the same shop

This is same guy who i brought some four pots from and he sent me one four pot and one 2 pot rear caliper. took over two weeks to get to myself and i have to find out where my other caliper was and i found out i had been sent to some one else so i had to swap the calipers over with another member on here who had my other caliper. he didnt even offer to cover the cost off postage i had to pay to send the caliper. the guy even threated the other member with police action for some unknown reason after he requested that he should fork out the cost of the postage.

Apparently speeding is much more important, they get paid when they catch a speeder! Plus speeders kill babies.
So, since I have this guys bank account details and the police don't seem to care what happens who wants to help me figure out a way to extract money from the account?
