Bob i don't respond to anything he posts. Neither do i name him directly. What i don't therefore need is the underhanded insults attempting to analyse what is, at the end of the day, just a personal opinion.

SDB used to love to tell us that Scoobynet was in the top 10 sites in the world, or some other complete ego-waffle along the same kind of lines

He usually said this, just before he infracted you and locked the thread, claiming that the "community had spoken"

I have just had a cracking idea

Why not release all the SN prisoners from the depths of ex-webclowns dungeon and see how many come back

Traffic will rocket

Maybe a complimentary email just to let them all know they have been unbanned and will be judged on future actions only?

What a good idea, you could well be right at that.

Has this place gone **** up?

YES!

In fact it has been floating upside down for so long and smelling of rotten fish, I am suprised more people have not noticed before......

Guess it has to do with low expectations, it seems to be a new trend.

Places change, tastes alter. People want different things.

There is no way this place is going to cater for being all things to all men.

As it is today I think it is pretty good. Sure it's lost a bit of edge, but for the most part it is a good forum to visit and use.

I would like to thank those who spoke up for me. I have never understood why I have continually had the above treatment. I have never insulted him anyway.

The whole purpose of my post above was indeed to give my own opinions of course. I fail to understand the meaning of "analysing what is at the end of the day my own personal opinion" I said it as I saw it!

Isn't that one of the basic reasons for a forum anyway?

I will never hold it against anyone for disagreeing with what I have said. All part of life. Why however is it necessary to attack in such a vitriolic manner? Much better surely to have a discussion on a friendly basis. It is even possible to have a joke about it.

I could have said a lot more of course but chose not to.

But here you are, posting?

Why, if this place is so bad, do people keep on posting here, saying how bad it is? Just leave. What's the issue?

have we /you/they drawn any conclusions as of yet? or is this just another fred much akin to its predecessors, doomed to failure?

or is it just a vehicle of debate where those of a predisposition to have a 'little whinge' can do so and then climb back on the school bus ready for home?

nowt much is going to change really is it, the forum is still chugging along at a reasonable rate of knots even IF only helped by freds such as this.

so ..

where is it all going, and is it really worth all the effort

Telboy, I have always liked your posting style on here even if I dont agree with all you say and as such I am at a loss to understand why you are so seemingly spiteful towards Les.

I think I am a fairly level headed person and see nothing offensive in what Les says or the way he says it and really it seems a little out of character for what I know of your persona on here.

There are posters far more worthy of derision than Les (imo) so any chance you can enlighten us as to what the problem is as frankly I, and others I suspect, am a little bewildered?

I wondered as Les bores me a little, but probably not as much as I bvore others

And as he said, it's banter, Tel's stuff seems more deep rooted and I noticed too.

COB,
I think people are being a little too sensitive here. If you don't like what TelBoy retorts, don't get into it with him.
If you do be prepared to cross swords, it's as simple as that.

It's a forum with mutli personalities, people will clash, even more so behind a computor with no consequence.

How ya keeping anyway.....

You're like a long lost friend, Mark. For some reason I feel our paths have crossed before

No crossing paths, I'm asking a question

I don't miss some of the 'regular' losers that used to inhabit here, Chaos/Mycroft/Audilover/Nacro and 100's that I've forgotten.

I'm not fussed either way, just get a little tired of the same old Snet bashing, either use it or don't, that's my 5 cents.
I'm sure that the 'regular losers' must be laughing their collective socks off that this place would appear to be as popular as a council tax dodger in the **** end of scotland.
