I'm supposed to have everyone paid up by the weekend.
If you can't, give me a ring on Monday at work, if there
is still space I'll see what they say.

So did I but hopefully the new karts will take us round quicker than the old karts ? With your experience will this be true ? We could always ask the kart team to add some weight to some of the other lightweights
Hoping its going to be be dry but heard thatkarting in the rain is a giggle

The new karts sound marginally quicker than the old ones so a slightly quicker laptime should be possible. But these corporate karts have approx 11-15hp depending on state of tune so to carry my 15.5-16 stone frame at the same speed as a 10-12 stone guy is never going to happen. But it`s always brilliant fun trying
The kart track at thruxton said they would ballast the karts for events to make it a completely level playing field but I`ve done several events there and it never happened.
Karting in the rain is excellent fun slippy slidy does`nt begin to explain how good it is.
And karting in - temperatures is even more fun. Did an event at Milton Keynes they gritted the track at 6pm before we arrived and we raced at 8pm approx 70% of the track was sheet ice it was hard just to keep the kart on the black stuff. But excellent fun
Reeeeaaally looking forward to this.

I can confirm that a wet track is awesome fun and the biggest bonus is that it evens things up immensely for us heavy weights

If you know you cannot win then you have to enjoy some sideways action

Sam will need some ballast to even things up. She's carrying nearly half the weight in comparison to most of us

Still, a few love taps should even things lol

Just a thought as none of us are that competitive are we?
If the grid started with the the heaviest at the front and works back accordingly.
That way the heavies get a fair crack off the line and the lightweights can use their extra light speed to race through.

Thought it sounded a fair way to me
