Since all my craps happened, literally every penny has been carefully spent.
When buying stuff me and the Mrs do lots of research to find the best compromise between quality and price. Then find the particular item at the best price.
Even the weekly shop is now known as a bargain shop, tend to look for things on offer BOGOF or extra %, stuff like that. You get accustomed to it, and we can feed ourselves for £70-80 for 2 weeks. Certainly don't get how 2 people could spend £100 a week on food, round here anyways.
Being this skint though, as Matty said, will live with us for good, so even when things kick in and money is better, we won't change our ways. Treats etc, yes definitely, you should enjoy your labours, but not wasting money to save time or paying over the odds for convenience.
(Says the guy with a 205 with practically all new parts )

I've started to use my bicycle for little errands and going to w*rk (providing I don't need to transport my tools that day). I'm also trying to find another more economical car for work since my fiesta diesel died.
