I could do with a price including the 10% discount and VAT for the fitting and mapping of my ECUTEK 3, please let me know exactly how much money i would need to bring, without that i cant commit

The ECUTEK 3 i have i think was mapped by Andy F while on the previous owners car, oh and i will be coming from Stoke so the nearer the better

Cheers, Dave M

I thought looking at the list there was 4cars, but now looking through posts looks like 5.. lol

When you say Stoke Dave you mean end of A50 etc? I am there the night before so might be worth doing it then.. will check what time I am leaving on the 15th to travel as I am sure there is something family related happening which dictates what time I can leave to travel north.

Sounds good to me, im from Stoke-on-Trent which i guess is one side of the a50, the other side being Nottingham way.

Did the price of £310 include the fitting of the ECU as i am unsure exactly what this intails, is there anything else i need to do? 3 port solinoid etc?

Simon,

My car was mapped earlier this year. Do I need to get anything from original mapper for software license or whatever?

Cheers,

Bidston Link Rd
Prenton, CH43 7AA

Google Maps

Come out of Wallasey tunnel and keep right, go passed slip road just after toll.. follow dual carriageway until the next left slip road, go left here, move over into left lane and come down off raised motorway, B and Q on left, keep left at roundabout first exit, then over bridges to another roundabout and first exit into Tesco !

As you can see from map, loads of long national speed limit roads around it.

Good luck guys, Simon will be enjoying the weekend off after a very busy and long 4 days over here in Northern Ireland, 21 cars mapped in total and a few just given a health check.

Make sure you are well organised as a group, makes life much better for JGM and the whole experiance will be more enjoyable for yourselves!

Excellent, you have my number should you need to extend dnc's time .. or bring mine forward.

I'll be there waiting at the top end of the car park, as you go in and round the petrol station.

Hi Simon

Yes we need to get talking as i was waiting for you to confirm if you were actually down my way and what time you had to leave, i have geared this around meeting in Stoke or the surrounding area as i dont fancy travelling to the set meeting place if your going to be round this way but i am still ready and committed to the remap.

I was hoping for a little more performance say around the 270bhp mark but more importantly increased reliability, i know this is a trade off but im sure you can work your magic and get more safe power from the car. At the moment it has a PPP ecu, no sure if this affects things

Please PM me or email me at mountforddave@hotmail.com so we can put some plans in place

Cheers, Dave M

I'm travelling down to Carnetic once I have finished the other two cars and therefore pass through Stoke - I'm hoping at about 1.30pm. Do you want to pm/e-mail me your phone number and I'll let you know when I'm actually leaving.

Safe power is what I always try and achieve.

Thanks
Simon

For anyone on the fence about getting Simon to map their car......DO IT !!!!

I have a MY05STI PPP, and got a safe reliable map with a little over run added by Simon last week in NI....car now pulls like a train, whilst remaining in the "safe" category...a healthy 335bhp and 325lb/ft (not the highest figures ever achieved, but the boost is now rock solid, and on a car with virually no engine mods) I have to say I am delighted !

A true gentleman who took his time to explain EXACTLY whay he was doing to my pride an joy, and anawered every query (from a relative scoob noob) on every topic

Cant recommend him highly enough
