Just to let all you Legacy owners know that a Impreza rear box will fit with a little work.

It took me 4½ hours today to fit a HKS rear box and a welder and 16" of ½" steel bar.

I shall post some pics soon, but i must say it sounds great.....

No DGRALLYING,
regrettably in Switzerland not all Legacy Turbo has the bottom skirts on the rear bumper.... :-( as the bottom of boxes:-(
I am exactly in search of these parts but have do not find easily in Switzerland and it is too much complicated to buy in another country.

Bye
:-)

this is one of my favourite rally cars after the 6r4.

i`ve only seen this guy once at the rallymasters 2001 but what a machine... and it had a better sound track than the Impreza`s

Yeah, Phonix, I second that...

Karen has wondered about fitment of an Impreza bonnet scoop, and an Impreza style rear wing.

Mind you, it's nice to be able to use the Legacy as a more subtle car compared to my Impreza. Decisions, decisions...

Oh go on then!

By the way can anyone reccommend decent power upgrades that won't be toooo bad on the wallet? I've got a custom made straight through back box but that's it at the moment - any ideas?

Nice looking motors guys, I will put a picture of mine up once I figure out how.

I have now got a picture of my legacy up in the gallery (a bit on the big side but I will do better next time) let me know what you think of it. Enjoy.

The most recent thing that i have done to my road car is fitted a HKS rear box

The only problem being as the Legacy Estate has a greater rear overhang than the Impreza the original 113mm outlet burnt/melt the rear bumper so i had to change the length of the oulet to stick past the bumper by approx 20mm

good to hear the legacy owners are still going strong

ive had problems with mine, in the way of a piston loosing a big chuck of metal

so, engine in bits in the garage, but will have the new parts tomorrow or tues, and will be done this week. after putting back together, spec will be: (list will get bigger)

sti 16" wheels
sti ra struts/eibach springs
solid drop links
sti ra close ratio gearbox/diffs
home made quickshift
ap clutch
sti brakes
mongoose 3" system from turbo back
TD05 turbo
ported headers
2" up-pipe
pipercross induction from wrc car
sti gaskets (metal 3 layer head gaskets)
ported cylinder heads
cosworth pistons
cr lowered to 7.6 : 1
lightened flywheel
alloy pulleys
uprated fuel pump
apexi s-afc fuel computer
apexi avc-r boost computer

once run in and run for a few thou to loosen up, will rolling road it and see what it does.
if not brill power, will get rid early and get my R33 skyline

Question

Has anyone else booked Track Time at the SIDC summer extravaganza day at Donnington park on Sunday July 7th ?
I've booked the afternoon session. This would be a good chance to get some Legacy's on track at the same time, and Donnington's a wicked track.

Anyone know who's driving the Legacy above?

not long got an imported RS twin (as a company car Believe it or not) Inherited it from boss after it blew the big ends. Had a very costly rebuild with a guy who works for prodrive(though he did a fantastic job).
Has anyone got a cheapish option to rid myself of the flat spot i get at around 4000 between the stages
When the sun shines and i get chance i will take some pics & post here as someone said they had not seen a nice black legacy
