It has died, though, a bit, don't you think?
At the risk of getting the same keyboard warrior replies I had last time.......... SN is dead now, don't ya think?
Sterile now; and with a tiny amount of traffic when compared to its 03/04 peak.

Hand on heart, I don't know how busy it was in 2003/4, as I wasn't about then, so I best leave that for someone else to comment about.
As for my opinion, it isn't as fast moving now, as say 2006/7. I know at times during the year it will slow, so I'll reserve judgement for now. Why it's not as fast moving, I'm not so sure.
Are we too serious, and spoiling it? Have people (and some characters) just moved on? Are people finding other ways of bantering/communicating with each other away from 'forums'? Etc.
What we need to remember, is there are alot of people on here, and we can't pander to a minority who want things their way, and **** anybody else. However, at the risk of being slated by some, or god knows what may come, what do people actually suggest to make it 'better'? I don't mean a free for all, so some people can post whatever, at the expense of everybody else, but give some reasonable opinions.
I await geting shot down in some way.

From my POV it seems like most of the people that used to post good stuff, and actually interract have gone. I don't see it as the Subaru brand being now seen as ****, cos NSR means just that.
I recall this site when you'd post and there would be 2 or 3 posts beating you to a point to respond - now that was busy.
I also remember how nasty it could get, but that was allowed. And that is when it was busy, because it was fun... Infractions came in and we all played with it and treated it with silliness. Then it died.
And you get ****witts saying, "**** off if you don't like it now" when you post your views..... We have generally ****ed off now, and the site's now dead

Serious question btw! This place used to be a great laugh, but now it's so bland and boring What happened?
I got banned for a month for.. well nothing really, but now I've returned it kinda feels like returning home after a Nuclear holocaust and everyone is dead! So what happened in my absence to make this place as humour free as an open day at Samaritans?

2. glasgow 121 up, 320 down love it hate it
Less soap sold here per head of population than any other city in the world. Known to all fellow Scots as (weegie scum) and (Soap dodgers).
Not a nice place to visit.
Just breath in and smell the glasgow air - you will know what I mean.

I don't know why it's died, either.

It still can be like that, but people need to get back posting, it's not always serious.
Infractions didn't help the site (no offence to Simon/Shaun, as they did what they thought right), but in terms of characters, some were killed off long before ib took over, and are long gone probably. And no mattter what, most likely wouldn't come back.
I'm all for a laugh, and I don't think any othe rmod is against that, they all like a giggle too. It is possible to do without getting nasty though, which some people seem to struggle with.
Banter, take the ****, but it doesn't need to get too nasty. Get posting peeps, and have a laugh, instead of complaining that you can't.
Again, constructive criticism welcome, I think.
