Nope - it cr4p all year round.
We have no restaurants, only greasy spoons. We have no hotels, only pikey guest houses. We have no countryside, only wasteland. Our beaches are litter strewn, our water polluted and we never get surf. The roads clog up all year round and even where they are clear, the are so rutted that only a Massey Ferguson will get you around.
The character filled, empty roaded, constantly sunny, stunning rolling hills of the South East and it's openly warm and friendly people who cast aside such trivialities as income, watch type and car model is a joy compared to the choking, poisonous land we struggle to live in down here.
Take heed.

PS I don't rate the South-East much either - must be my Northern blood tainted with Scotch.
