Poll is also flawed - I always 'owe' something on the credit cards - anyone who uses a card does. But I never pay any interest as I pay it off every month.

Shouldn't the poll be how much do you owe that you're paying interest on (including zero, as the poster above pointed out).

Read my post again. I was refering to buying off the internet which in this day and age is a very popular way of shopping dont you know
By the way, don't ever go to Malaga airport and expect to hire a car with Goldcar, they don't accept cash

Better than giving your credit card details so somebody you have never met, then if a problem occurs you have to return your goods to some ramshackle warehouse in the middle of Birmingham.

People that do that need there bumps feeling..

I could of course be missing the point, but if i go into a respected dealer and pay with cash, what fraud implications could i get into ? Why/how would a credit card be better for me..?

I buy all sorts from flights to car insurance which are often cheaper over the net and the credit card offers security which a debit card wouldn't.

As for Malaga airport, whats up with it?
Its like any other airport from what i have seen, a big black runway and a terminal building.........
If by some chance you are refering to Malaga town i can't comment because i've never been.

Got three credit cards but only really use one of them. All paid off in full when they're due.

Use my main card for everything as I get 1% cash back with it. I think it's great that they pay you to use the card and means I get a nice little bonus every year

I use the card for everything as get reward points and purchases are also protected to an extent. Bill gets paid off in full every month without question as I don't believe in spending what I can't afford to pay off in one go. We've never racked up a bill that we couldn't pay.

why wouldn't you pay for large ticket items like flights/car hire on a credit card -- absolute madness not too, amazing protection

(I went on a family holiday a few years ago with some friends, we bought the flight on a CC they bought with a debit card – Airline went bust, we got our money back - £900.00 they lost it)

if you pay your balance off every month its a fantastic way of managing your money -- in fact you can even use the 0% balance transfer to pay lumps off your mortgage -- interest free

off course if you don’t trust yourself fine (what a ridiculous attitude) -- do you all wear nappies as well, in case you **** yourselves!!!!!

RE ridiculous attitude -- qualified by saying, unless you got yourself into debt using them in the past and you are on the wagon so to speak

£400 on mine - it was zero but i had to pay for new brakes on the bike. I could collect it out of hours but not pay for it as the service department would be shut So paid over the phone using a CC.

No way in the world would i pay for anything over the web or phone and not use a CC. Too open to fraud.

5t.
