Purpose designed uppipe for that application, stainless steel, slip jointed, DEI heat wrapped with five new studs is £139. Delivery £12.50 overnight or we will fit here in Darlington for £75 thus avoiding delivery charge.

Hi harvey just wondered whats the difference between your 3 bolt up pipe and the ones that come with the gt spec2 headers? From your pics i can just about make out that the top half is smaller in diameter than the bottom? Is this how you get the quicker spool without the loss of flow?

many thanks

Do you know what make your seconhand headers might be?
A new purpose designed uppipe intended to go with my ported headers is £139 and there are several designs subject to turbo in use and power aspirations. Slip jointed, DEI wrapped, five new Subaru studs. No cost heat sensor option. There are also several secondhand uppipes but they may not be a good performance option. I will also have an STi uppipe, no CAT but it may need heat wrapped. I will look and see if there is an STi with heat shield but I suspect not.
More information and I can probably help you.

The difference is that my uppipes promote quicker spool and crisper response, much fatter torque and BHP curve, with no loss of ultimate power output.
The development of this uppipe took 12 months with a lot of trial and error and perfected with flow bench testing. I think there were seven basic prototypes and probably around 15 fitments.
As for results, just make enquiries of anyone that has one fitted.
Bob Rawle mapped a car he had mapped previously and did not believe we had ONLY changed the uppipe. This happened a second time and he then asked us to fit one on his Classic a few days later. He reported response with antilag off and the new uppipe on was as good as it had been with antilag on previously. Paul Armin, (Iddy) high power 2.5 reported that it transformed his car and claimed it had improved spool by 500 rpm. I don't know about 500 rpm but most people report 200-350 rpm improvement.
Other mappers with firsthand experience include Pat Herborn, Dynamix (Duncan Graham), Paul Blamire (Zen).
The three bolt with slip jointed, five new Subaru studs and DEI wrapped is £149 plus delivery £12.50 overnight. No cost option of boss for heat sensor. (advisble to remove heat sensor at this potential power level) Paypal to harveysmith1@btopenworld.com

Depending on the turbo in use Aladdin you are probably best with ported headers with matched uppipe DEi heat wrapped for £369 exchange and fitted for a bargain £75.
For a bigger turbo like an MD321 you are best with the tubular GT headers £390 but on top of that wrapping is £95 as I do each running individually and the special uppipe is £149 so not a cheap solution but it does result in fantastic performance.
No point going tubular at low bhp or medium to small turbo.

Yes and no. In several years of selling these I have not had one return. I do not knowingly sell anything that under performs or has inherent problems.

The 3 bolt flange uppipe and header set is £390 and comes with the 3 bolt gasket uppipe to headers. £12.50 overnight delivery from stock.
I can wrap the headers and uppipe £95 with DEI wrap.
An alternative uppipe to that supplied which greatly improves spool £149.
Let me have your email address and I will send you a standard letter with more information.

I suggest you e-mail me. Do you want the crosspipe with heatshield on or DEI wrapped?
I will have something here for sure.
Can post Tuesday for you to receive Wednesday.
