Firstly my thanks to George for organising
I do appreciate the effort in arranging this event.
What a contrast to last month.
Last night I was lucky enough not to be involved in the incidents which looked pretty nasty. I also thought some people were a bit enthusiastic last night & personally I enjoyed last months event much more.
I will say that the lights were a bit confusing for a while but at least I did slow down for the yellow flags.

To be balanced Micheal was also quiet willing to give it out too. I followed him as he cut the corner onto the back straight to overtake Tiny where there was no opening, and he therefore slammed into the side of Tiny, putting him off the track, virtually in to the tyres.

Simon would also like to join us, but for similar reasons I think it would be unfair, so i'm the bad dad for not allowing him to come .
Indeed, lets hope next months is back to hard but fair racing.
(in fact there was still plenty of that last night, I had a fun tussle with speccy for many laps )

thanks george, and forgot to pay you for next months
if its still on, will wire it to you
not too sure as to why things went so badly wrong
have to agree with a lot of the comments already stated
such as the green light on the control tower
also when a marshal leaves his station to assist
there is no flag being waved, adding to confusion
i also feel the venue could do some work on its proceedures
i have to say i dont think this is an event for first timers
or those with limited racing experience, ie number 12
not blaming him for what happened
i just feel he was a little out of his depth
and lastly i appologise to anyone if i bumped them a little to hard
and can honestly say i didnt ignore any yellow flags or
requests to return to the pits
is that me in the clear then?

I echo all that's been said..
Don't know what really happened, other than lots of yellow and green flags all at the same time, which in truth just managed to bunch up all karts on track, leading to mayhem when released.
Apologise if i was a little overzealous or just plain run out of talent and bumped people, but was never intentional and i don't think i sent anyone into the tyres.
George thanks for organising, it was great to be on track again!
Although little consolation, it appeared all the groups that ran last night struggled with grip, staying on track, etc.

There's no need to apologise. As we said at the time, we'll put it down as a racing incident
What happens on the track, stays on the track, and that's that
Until next month....: hjtwofing:

I didn't realise we had all been driving EVO's, might explain the lack of scooby friendly/waving

Ok, the dust has settled a bit and emotions are hopefully back to normal levels so.......
George - Who won?
Though i suspect it's a case of who finished behind Micheal.

To be fair Neil, George went to great lengths on our behalf including broadcasting apologies over the radios to the Marshalls so that we were not banned as a group and could be given another chance to come back next month.
So it's fair to say that Surprise Surprise he isnt impressed

Andy, I have spoken via pm with George.
Throwing insults doesn't do anything to help.
One persons actions may have been beyond what is acceptable, but as previous posts it was not the sole contributor to the problems.

Matt, I also wondered that, possibly they realised there is usually more than one factor in any situation?
