amazing how you can spook yourself in a big building....

i used to cover late publishing for Thomson Financial and sat on a floor on my own listening to mp3's, until the publishing dept were happy all their articles were sent to press.

pretty creepy, and like you, the lights used to go out, if noone wandered about, so i'd be sitting there in the dark... hearing things.... Wmahhahahahahhaha!!!

have a safe night, i'm off to beddy byes (ghosts cant get you under covers, havent you heard!!!

I remember driving around with my mate in an old Fizza and as we pulled into a lay-by in Neston at a phone box the street light went out, leaving everything in total darkness.. as it went out the car engine cut out .. and then the light in the phone box started to flicker ..

To this day it freaks us out thinking about it ..

The freakiest thing though happened to a colleague when I worked nights in ASDA.

I would go up for my breaks with the team but the other manager refused to and would carry on.

This guy is about 6 5 and 17 stone .. very angry and not someone who enjoyed being social.

He was moving stock off the racking in the warehouse and behind the racking was the George warehouse. As he lifted a packed he saw a shadow move across out of the corner of his eye from within the George bit.

I have included a very well thought out pic for you.

As you can see from the pic the warehouse is completely closed in. Only one way in and one way out. The door locked from the outside with a pad lock, the key to which is in the security office and the key to that was on my belt.

Now after seeing this shadow moving towards the door, he storms over and looks in... nothing there, he goes around the side where the stairs to the platform above are and looks between the rows of clothes .. nothing ..

Ok, fair enough .. he goes back to his packing ... (seeing things)

As he lifts the first box (and the hairs are standing on my neck again) he catches the black shadow walking back the other way ..

To say he **** himself would be an understatement.. he woudnt go back down alone and me being brave took a couple of the lads and searched the warehouse and the George bit and found nothing ..

Freaks me out to this day...

Tonight my Xbox 360 has turned itself on about 12 times. On 5 occasions the disc tray has opened on it's own.

None of my neighbours are in, or own an Xbox 360...

I've taken all batteries out of remote's for the tv, SKY etc, even removed the USB dongle and turned off my laptop, but it still keeps happening.

I think the only thing left to try is disconnecting the HDMI cable.

It's getting a bit spooky

as already said its strange how you spook yourself in a place thats big and your the only one in your room, you can look back and laugh but having 'seen' stuff, the stuff with the phone, the noises/footsteps and knowing someone else has seen something too, it just makes you check twice to make sure nobody else is up there.

we were in early saturday morning and had to work on 1st floor for a while and once again, the lights in one corner were on, and we had only been on one half of the floor so all the lights up to the corner were off - even pointed it out to my boss asking 'have you been over there' he said 'no' non of the windows were open of anything and they went off as normal suggesting they work fine. i do believe theres something funny goings on, on the 1st floor of work.
