I reaslised Thinkauto were only 7 miles away, so I bought a cooler direct from them. Going to make some brackets and fit the cooler, then work out the hose lengths.
Btw, I think it will be easier to fit a 115mm x 25 row cooler, this was summit I knocked up in Visio. Click on the image for a larger view.

If you have a frount mount it is logical to put the Oil cooler where the top mount once sat surely?? That's where I will be putting mine.
If you have a Front mount you are already restricting the air that gets to the Radiator, why would you ut anything else infront of it ? (Just a thought, I will still be putting mine on the top)

if your using a fmic you dont need a top scoopy scoop. im using a reverse scoop to aid airflow through the bay with my hybrid fmic and may even raise the bonnet a tad. my aftermarket grill should also aid air flow to the rad and zerosports stat should keep things cool aswell. an oil FMOC is going to be more efficient then a TMOC surly.

I'm not keen on the TMOC it must take more effort for the oil to be pumped uphill and I'd worry about the oil draining out of it if the car hadn't been used for a couple of weeks. If that happend, you would have no oil going to the bearings until the oil cooler had filled up again.
May be that's an impossible scenario if the oil is locked in by vacum or something?
