The Phantom was a gate guardian at 14MU Havn't you left Carlisle yet LOL
Les
Just a quick question........Sunderland is about 80 miles from me, the Vulcan went over quite low. Did the display pilot just not bother to waste fuel climbing and continued to fly around at display height while going cross country to these events ??
Cheers

I used to remain at lower levels if I did travelling displays between different places. It was also easier to get the timing correct between different airfields, and it was less boring to stay at lower levels anyway.

Once settled, there is a Jap. car night at Sherburn on the first Tuesday of every month. Packed in summer with all sorts.

ronjeramy......
Not seen a Black GT4 about
Takes me back a bit......I bought my E plate MR2 from HW Moon a few years ago and on a visit for a service they led me into the showroom for coffee and video's.
I had a wander about the showroom and there was a GT4 Carlos Saintz special edition in super red II. I had a sit in it and seriously thought about buying it
The MR2 cost about £11 grand, my salary was about £10 grand so the Celica would have killed me !!
I look on Pistonheads now and they go for £1.5 - £2 k... tempted
Shaun
PS
Les...........I had a similar moment having been around Barton Airdrome in a Grob......The cost of getting a PPL including ground school would have killed me LOL

Shaun you'd hear it before you saw it, Blitz Nur spec though its not scooby loud. I'm in the process of getting a FMIC fitted, along with the other bits i have acquired for it, it should be 300-320bhp. There's a couple of pic in my profile.
Are you still squeezing power out of your WRX? or have you reached the limits?

Ronjeramy....... can I call you your real name??
Kirkbride.......Nope
There's a walking with dinosaurs show in Manchester to sort out and on top of that I had a blowout on the M6 today. Thank god the Toyo T1R has pretty stiff side walls so managed to limp home.......space saver didn't fit because of Tar-ox brakes !
Weekend is going to be spent doing the usual family stuff but trying to fit in sorting out impending MOT, blown tyre and arrival of replacement tar-ox brakes and Rota GR-A wheels ...............IN WHITE

Hi Mike
Have you tried the Kart circuit just down from the Cumberland Infirmary
The Rota's are good value.........special offer from Revolution, I'll run them until they look gunmetal LOL
I had a look at GT4's for the daily trip to and from work, Less than £2 grand
Cheers
