For an opening intro, was brilliant. Shame 2 people heard it, me and Matt

Well maybe they heard it through the speakers downstairs as it was a bit busier there.

Pleased you went down well and pleased the Trance music worked. Trance music is my passion and when I started dj'ing in 99 was the best time to be doing it! come 2003 it had all dissapeared. I had to adjust, and to keep working had to adapt to R&B and cheese!

Only now have I started dropping the odd classic back into my sets, I normally play commercial dance like David Guetta etc at the mo but build it up and played tunes like PVD, Adagio and Warrior recently.

I find the people coming to where I work go from one extreme to the other, their either too young to appreciate Trance and have a go at me for not playing the bloody Ting Tings or too old and moan at me for not playing Marvin Gaye! Generally the dancier R&B stuff works but I would LOVE to do Trance sets again!

Somehow playing Signum, Tony de Vit and Dejure - Sanctuary (choon) does'nt seem to work for me anymore! They don't know what their missing!

Keep it up mate and be prepared for hearing "call yourself a dj!" usually following a "no" from you when you hav'nt heard of some tune from the eighties nobody has ever heard of! You can't please all of the people all of the time!

Hahaha

Yeah had that a little Fri. The best bit was when some proper old black dude (smartly dressed to **** in shirt/tie/trousers etc) gives me his jacket to look after in the DJ booth (didn't mind as he was sooo ******* cool looking), and dropped a few old skool moves on the dancefloor. 5 mins of fame that.

Luckily I didn't go cheesey otherwise I'd have packed up and pissed off. Cheesiest I got I think was the vocal version of 'Everyday 2002' by Agnelli & Nelson. And that ain't cheese - it's a fookin toon!
