Yeah that novelty soon wore off everywhere, didn't it? I guess these days any self-respecting Mujahideen has to choose between logging on to Scoobynet or spending the day just sitting at the roadside in an opium-induced haze whilst staring into space and chuntering incoherently to themselves.

I'd love to know how he came up with that statistic.
But at the end of the day, this is the UK's Vietnam. How many grieving families can honestly say they're (sp) proud of their (sp) sons dying from fighting in Afghanistan. Where?? Just find a reason to get out and take it. Where is the evidence that withdrawing from this unwinnable conflict will put UK citizens at greater risk? Is this assumption similar to the one about the presence of weapons of mass destruction?
