Neil

You dont need to pay to get a passengers lap, but you do need to sign an indemnity form & get a wristband to prove you've done so.
Helmets are also available there, if you dont own one.

Neil,

the track is open from 9am, but the first 30 minutes are generally taken up by the warm-up sessions, so wouldn't recommend getting there before this. We are there all day, so no real rush...

Is it a strict requirement to attend the 8.00am driver's briefing or is it possible to receive a lunch time briefing if unable to make the morning one?

AFR,

no drivers will be permitted on track without first getting a briefing. If you do miss the one at 8:30 (we need everyone there at 8am though to complete all the signing on/indemnity forms etc), then you will have to wait until there is someone free to do an individual briefing. From past experience, this may take from 30 minutes to an hour, as generally everyone at Knockhill is busy once the track action has started.
