99 % of hair dressers are useless frauds .
They have not been properly trained .
Find one - If your lucky and tip them well
Are you a hairdresser?

When my dad finished school he took a qualification in hair dressing .. he said it was to get near women .. we think he's a closet .. anyway .. when he finally passed and showed his dad the certificated, his dad rippped it to pieces and told him to get a real job .. lol bit mean but probably the reason I'm here today

This happened 40 years ago by the way ..

Yuko System Re-Texturising

The Yuko hair straightening system is a chemically based system that permanently straightens your hair. The process can only take place at a hairdresser's salon, where the stylist has been trained in the Yuko hair straightening system.
Here is a step by step account of what you can expect if book in to have your hair straightened this way.
  • Your hair is washed, and then sprayed with a pH balanced "hair water" which prepares your hair to accept the neutralising solution.
  • Pre-treatment protection is applied to your hair to prevent it from being damaged.
  • The first chemical applied to your hair softens it and makes each strand more "stretchy".
  • The neutraliser is washed out and the hair is rinsed through with hair water.
  • The straightening begins! The hair is divided into small sections and straightened using hair irons. This can take around two hours for medium length hair.
  • Another chemical is applied which sets the hair in its current shape - completely straight. This is left on for quarter of an hour before it is rinsed off and more hair water is sprayed through the hair.
  • Finally the hair is blow dried and the hair straighteners are quickly run through the hair to provide a beautiful, sleek and glossy finish.
  • The look is easily maintained at home with a quick application of straightening irons, although it will still look straight and sleek if you just "wash and go".
What hair types is the Yuko system suitable for?

The system is suitable for most hair types, with the exception of:
  • Afro hair - although it will work on tightly curled caucasian hair after two applications.
  • Bleached hair - the hair is already too damaged for the further application of chemicals.
How long does it last?

It depends how quickly your hair grows, but you can expect at least 12 months between treatments. You may find with continued treatments that your hair becomes less wavy over time.
How much does it cost?

The cost depends on the length of your hair and which salon you go to, but you can expect to pay in excess of £300 for shoulder length hair.
To save money?

Try the Boots Home Straightening Kit which is based on the same Japanese technology, check it out here.

LOL

**** me. Nat, you need to grow a set of *****

Nat, why don't you just buy some GHD's?

The wife is a hair dresser so no problems here, the main draw back is the top is thinning so the style I can have is limited
