Hi Steve. The pictures really look like they are brochure ones especially with another black one in the background.

He should take that as a compliment then as his scoob and photgraphy are at a professional level.

Try adding a little more suds and pat drying. take a little long but worth it. Also when drying spray the panels with quick detailer. This helps to enrich the shine. And don't forget to wax it every 6 weeks

polish or wax?

polish will cut into the paint and give no protection

wax protects the paint

What's your budget?

It's not all going to plan Seller is now saying that he's got other people after it and offering more money. I like the car but not paying more than I've already agreed. Wish my bank would hurry up! Will I ever end up in another scoob

I'd be tempted to tell him to stick it and look for another.

Sounds like a tw@t trying to get a few moreŁ's out of you.

Been without one for ages Matt surely you can wait a little longer.

As above - if you shook on it & agreed a price & the guys now asking for more I'd walk away - clearly the guy's a tw@t!

If it is not meant to be then leave it - the right one is out there waiting......
..........and will be better!!

I thought that the waffle which spally says he is using is only meant to be used to pat dry the car. I am under the impression that swirls will come back a lot quicker if you use a waffle as spally has mentioned (back & forth).

If you really want to maintain the finish go with a quality wax that Matt recommends & also pat dry the car. Depending on where you live using a leaf blower is the best way to dry the car
I find that leaf blowing the car has maintained the look considerably but really depends if you are able to use one.
