Im just in the middle of a court case concerning a road rage incident. Cut a long story short, I had some words with someone as they where shouting abuse at me and waving there arms, when I basically told him to F-off, the guy flipped and told me to pull my vehicle over, So he follows me for a couple of miles flashing his lights and shouting abuse. I decide to pull over and get out my vehicle and have a word with him, as I approached his vehicle he sunk into his seat not expecting me to have got out, as I got to the front of hios car, he basically puts it into 1st gear and smashes straight into me sending me onto his bonnet/windowscreen and smashing the open door off my vehicle.

managed to get away with only cuts and bruises, had plenty of witnesses and the police come pretty much straight away, and the guy was arrested 3 hours later. Pretty much learned my lesson to never get out the car to confront an idiot, the last thing i thought that i was going to get caught up in a hit and run.

Only one incident in the scoob fella, overtook a beaten up old vectra on a long straight national speed limit road with no oncoming traffic and dont think i even exceeded the speed limit, as i pulled out to overtake (i had'nt been tailgating) he put his arm out the window and gave the ****** sign, when i turned round at the next junction and questioned his behaviour all he could say was "you did'nt have to overtake then, did you!!) W4NKER, whats your opinion fella? I dont go looking for trouble but i wont let cowardly idiots think they can get away with behavior like this either.

after reading through all these i to have had similar idiots doing similar things with me and i have got out a few times and as mentioned half the time people brick it and get lost but it isnt always like that i learned the hard way i used to drive a truck collecting materials for a gardener when i was a college (17/18 yr old at the time now 25) pulled out at a junction carrying 2 ton so obviously not very quick but road was clear next minute an astra comes speeding round the corner almost into the back of the truck beeping at me ,thinking oh **** off flipped em a V out the back window anywya next set of lights on red 2 guys jump out this astra and come over (this is the silly bit must of been half asleep) guy knocks on the window and i opened it like a fool "alright pal" i said then bang punched me straight in the mouth whilst giving verbal didnt know what to do and the fact there was 2 of em i just though **** that put the window up n drove off with a fat lip. Got back to work only to get laughed at and tbf most people iv told just laughed but ya never know it could be a lot worse thatn a smack in the mouth one day it just aint worth sayin anythin or doin anythin these days. Oh and you can laugh if you want lol.

is it becaause they bought a ford? did someone tell them it was the fast and best car in the world well not the fastest as they find out..

i have a road rage incident from the mid 90's, driving along at speed limit minding my own buisness, no cars around for miles, until i see a speck in my rear mirror getting bigger and bigger fast, turns out to be a vw polo, i can see this big 200 pound dude behind the wheel, he then proceeds to drive 2 inches from my bumper because he wants to get past me, he cant overtake at that stretch, so i get a bit wind up and give him a sign to back off, then he overtakes me and i speed up and proceed to be 2 inches from his bumper, now he doesnt like that at all for some reason and starts flipping me a finger and waving his arms out of the window, a couple of miles down there is a train crossing and the train is comming so traffic stops to let the train past, im sitting right behind him in the queue, and he is very upset now, i give him a sign that he can just get out of his car and tell me what the problem is, he then gets out of his car and he has that look in his eye as described in some the above posts, so here comes the 200 pound dude up to my car and im thinking what the hell does he want, he then opens up my door and starts throwing punches at me, i fend him off with my left arm, and in the same movement i take off my seatbelt, get a huge bloody wound on my left arm because his got a big ring on his finger, i get out of the car and he graps hold of me, now i know i shouldnt get in infight with him (200 pund) dude, i manage to pull myself out of his grip while he is still trying to smack my face in, still had sunglasses on, i get my distance to him and ask what the hell he is on about, take my glasses off and put them on the roof of my car, plenty of witnesses because they are waiting for the train to pass the crossing, i then approach him talking to him calmly, saying im ready to fight now, he then calms down a bit because he realizes that his being a jackass infront of all the cars waiting for the train, get a bit closer to him and he starts being off guard, i then see my chance to give him a right to the jar, smack and he almost tumbles and falls backwards, i ask him if his done now? he is a bit groggy after that punch, i then get up and deliver a kick at his throat and now his completely aware that he is getting his *** kicked, i ask him again, and he says yes im done, i then tell him to go sit in his car and drive off so everyone can get pass the crossing, yes im glad i did jiujitsu for a lot of years

if have later met him and what i think was his brother when filling my car at the local gas station, he did nothing..

true story

i have learned to ignore situations now in traffic and seldomly see road rage, im almost 40 now, and yes he was absolutely insane and could have done anything to me
