try parcel force for the delivering
postage shouldnt be anymore than 10.99 by parcelforce 48hr signed for and insured for 150 and can do it direct through paypal, think its anything upto 30kg and no more than metre and half long

just a thought for you

As 4-5 people wanted black, and 1 mentioned silver, and 2 wanted bare metal i think its fair to give them first refusal on the bars in the colour they want first. so as its stands the first lot in black are all spoken for? and 1 silver is spoken for & 1 bare metal also. As nobody else has mentioned colours they would like theyve been done in what others wanted. There wont be any 'one off colours' they will be whatever we can get done, so blacks, whites, silvers. if there were enough people wanted a different colour we could get say another 5 from the 2nd batch done blue or red or something.

A lot of people are tentative 'depending on price / finish' so they wont be first in the que, that wouldnt be fair IMO.

The second batch will be made up shortly after the first batch are out, but if nobodys lists a colour, they again will be done in what we choose.

People who want one and requested black/silver are first as theyre the serious buyers...im hoping. i have 11 bars in my possession

1. non powdercoated
2. Monkeyboy173 - Newage (Silver)
3. 53WRX - Colour (Black) Scoob (1995 STi Classic Wagon)
4. WUZ - Newage - SATIN or MATT Black
5. JonMc - Newage - Satin Black
6. chris-boris - type r (black - not matt though) happy to wait till the second batch
7. beef-on-the-bone, black classsic ?
8. silver
9. silver
10. silver

Both colours look FANTASTIC. Silvers bery close to the royal silver of my classic

iv also got
11. a white one that needs re-coating that was our prototype. finish isnt great but cant sort that and re-coat

Phil - there is only 1 bare metal one now rice rocket doesnt want it. will get back to you re-price when we have all the paperwork etc. if you want it, name on the list please.

i have 3 silver i need to sell. Again, these were based on a bar from a 2006 car which also fitted a classic. There should be no fitment issues other then the change in bolts between cars.

i wont do anymore until the first batch has gone, i think il have to take deposits for a 2nd lot.

Any questions please post here. may start a new thread for the definates of the group, and keep this one for questions.

Best Regards
Jon

Parcel force works for me. If there is no-one in it is left at the local post office at the top of the road so saves all of the hassle I get with other couriers

Let us know when you want payment, and I'm happy to do a bank transfer to avoid paypal fees. I'm in no rush so waiting for the payment to clear is not a drama

Trail fitting, fit is good and there is a noticable difference in chassis stifness when driving. Colour as you can see, is a satin black.

General pics

Seats all the way back

Carpet/piece of plastic behind will need a trim, we havnt cut the carpet here or re-fitted the trim as its coming back out.

Im happy to start packaging them up at the weekend ready to send out next week probably. If anyone wants any other pics or higher resolution ones pm me your email.

you know what, thats a really good point! i havnt yet, also forgot to get some fixings for my fuel rails/injectors today

we tried this one on a 98 classic and it didnt require longer bolts, however the bolts for my 99 are different so they must have changed them over. il have to try one of our bars in my car and see, because il be having one anyway. the one we based ours on used thinner plate so it didnt require longer bolts to fit.

will let you know

edit - forgot to say, you might not need to change any fittings

They look brilliant. I hope you'll be able to continue these in production as I can't really spare the cash for another couple of months. Will we be able to choose colours or are we just lucky that they're coated at all?

With regards to the chassis stiffening I take it that it feels like an improvement. No loss of 'feel' for the rear of the car?

Yea shouldnt be a problem having them to sell regular. batch ones will be certain colours i think other colours can be done, but the price will go up as the coaters have to change the colours overs. We will see what happens

We went out in an unlowered classic, with just a front brace on and the harness bar and there is deffinatly a tad less roll on the chassic, even i could tell being a passenger. Not sure what theyre like to drive with. Andy will be able to tell you but it wasnt really the weather for spritited driving, as it was pishing it!

If the centre of the car is stiffened it would accentuate the characteristics of the cars existing handing. Which is a long way of saying, in it's small way, yes it will be an improvement.
