lol I can see that becoming a little OTT after a while.
I agree on the other hand about the USA, they are just flexible enough, and polite all the way through any issue.

Lets see what becomes of Domino's or will I need to go higher!

Here's a experience of how customer service "should" work:

Couple of weeks back, working late on a saturday, I get a McDonalds for us from the drive-thru. I get back into work and dish out the food only to find they left out the fries I couldn't be arsed to drive back to get them, as my food would have gone cold and I was starving anyway.

So I rang the branch and complained. They apologised, acknowledged the issue and offered the refund on the fries which I said I'll collect on the way back from work. They were ok with that.

I go to collect said refund later on, which in addition they gave me credit for two large meal-deals of my choice on my next visit.

Cant say fairer than that.

Probably had gob and pubes on my next burger, but meh. It tasted ok.

Burger King, with no whoppers ?

More like the local franchise owner did not want to give out any more free food IMO

Got some fully free vouchers from customer services and never bothered to use them, the local branch was closed down within a few months anyway!
been to KFC once and they'd run out of chicken !!!!!

we have probs with the local pizza place as their delivery boy (man) is a manager at the Inland revenue where my wife works.

they're not supposed to have other jobs etc, so it takes forever for them to deliver as he tries to get someone else to do it.- we've had the chef before delivering.

guess he's working on the sly cash in hand !!

annoying as their pizza is way better than the hut/dominos etc !!

Right.... resolved, how about that

Just received a follow up email from the new franchisee of the branch of Domino's explaining what went wrong on the night and how they intended on addressing the matter.

From despair to joy in a matter of hours.

So thank you to both members of the Domino's crew who have taken the time to take the matter onboard, and deal with it to a happy conclusion.

For those interested, I have been told I will receive my money back for the items not received, and was offered a good will gesture also, which I have declined.

In the interest of fairness, and a large portion of gratitude I thought I would add to this thread.

So....

Thank you to everyone at Domino's, inc the guys at the new Lambeth branch. After advising me of their opening this week, they kindly offered to supply the office with lunch.

We have just munched our way through about £80 quids worth of pizza, all given to us completely free.

So Domino's, hats off to you guys. You truly do have great customer service, a good attitude, lovely pizza, and my custom for many years to come!

lol well its a lot less if you do it the right way, but 4 large with extra toppings come to just under £20 a pop.

However they do have a spend over £30 and get the order half price at the mo.

Either way, large amounts of very nice and FREE pizza
