Since December 1992 I've had the following

1981 Metro
1985 Escort mark 1.6
1984 Manta GTE
1975 Mark 1 Escort (part owned and restored with a mate)
1989 Sierra 2.9 4x4
1984 Manta GTE (2nd car)
1991 Sierra 2.9 XR4x4
1984 Sierra 2.8 XR4i (2nd car)
1996 Mondeo estate (company car)
1991 Lancia Delta Integrale 16v(became a 2nd car to the Mondeo)
1978 Capri 3.0s mark 2 (still got and co-owned)
1984 Sierra 2.8 XR4i
2000 Puma 1.7 (company car)
1983 Capri 2.8i (3rd car while the Integrale was being fixed)
1987 Carlton 3000GSI (2nd car)
1996 Saab 900 Turbo (2nd car) lasted 5 weeks, boring as hell
1991 Carlton GSI 24v (2nd car)
1991 Carlton GSI24v (parts for the above then sold)
2004 Vectra 2.2 (company car)
1994 Legacy Turbo (2nd car)
1995 Lexus LS400 (2nd car)
1988 2 wheel drive Sapphire Cosworth (2nd car, still got it)

Love the Lancia I could never get insurance though for one when I was younger. Get a proper Subaru next!

Thumbs up

Great idea...

Fiat uno 903 cc (yes, it slowed down when you turned on the headlights)
Fiat uno 999 cc (bit better, but still sh!te really)
Fiat uno SX 1300 cc (better still - got elec windows in this one)
Fiat uno 1300 5 door (three different colours, got stopped by police all the time)
Fiat panda 4x4 999cc (canvas roof, basically a skip with 4wd - strangely I really liked it, maybe because it was so basic and wasn't pretending to be anything else. Low gearing made it nippy off the line and the 4wd plunger setup was fun and v useful in the snow etc.)
Ford mondeo 1.8 estate (company car - thankfully wasn't another fiat)
Astra GTE (spare to use while above car was getting fixed - and no it wasn't me that broke it )
Ford mondeo 1.8 TD estate (company car)
Land Rover discovery TD (company car)
Subaru legacy D series estate 1.8 (fun - liked this a lot)
Subaru legacy turbo estate (1.8 non intercooled version - a lot of fun, but it burned through its clutch real fast, and the air levelling suspension died and we couldn't fix it)
Ford Focus 1.6 hatch (company car - had it for 2.5 years and put over 100,000 miles on it)
Mercedes A160 (company car - was okay, best feature: you can remove all seats apart from drivers without any tools, worst feature: err... when you get to a corner)
Ford Focus 1.8 TDCi estate (company car, really liked this car)
Subaru Legacy estate 2.0 auto (took dogs abuse without complaining, great car - changed 2 front tyres and a headlight bulb then sold it for same as I paid for it a year or so later)
Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 (at last, an Impreza... was my dream car at this point - was a bit long in the tooth though and after spending a fair bit keeping it on the road (130,000 miles plus) we decided it was time for a change...)
Subaru Forester 2004 XT (nice car, loads of space and was going to modify it etc. but had to sell up early)
Subaru Legacy H6 Outback (one of my all time favourites... still in the family, I couldn't bear to get rid of it really)
And finally...
Subaru Impreza V4 STI - my current and all time favourite car
