Then you can dip/main without having to reach for a switch on the dash.

I tried that, but I couldnt get the damn spotlights to come on with the main beam.
But now there was a post while back on this problem and there a fix for it.
Now Im too lazy to get off my butt to re-wire them.
I will get around to them sometime.
At the moment with it on dip, Ive got a nice wide beam.
But with it full beam without the Cibies on, the light pattern is shocking.
Its like a narrow beam with next to no light to the sides.
So Im happy with the dip beam & Cibie on setup.
To make it clear this is not a kit from Bob5, mine is from HIDS4U
H4 Bi-xenon 55W Pro Max HID Xenon Conversion Kit , its not a cheap priced kit either.
As I stated earlier, not worth the money in my eyes.
I do regret not getting Morrettes now

On two of my cars I have PIAA. One set driving and one set spots and both come on with full beam plus an on/off switch so they can be left off. There is little or no difference in the range of both of these driving/spot. This really does turn night into day. From the cars I have driven with Morrettes I have always been impressed so much so I have a set on my project car, still in build. For the winter and in view of the disappointment referred to here, the blue STi 3 Wagon can get another set of PIAAs and I will order them today. This is a bit of buggeration to fit however as the front number plate has to be relocated.
Interestingly I previously purchased a set of HIDs from HIDS4U. What a shower of shysters. The product was not as advertised. They then changed their documentation and claimed I had made a mistake. Fortunately I had it hard copy, black and white. I contacted Trading Standards, Southampton from memory and I got a full refund in the end.
