For anyone who was there, we had the car with all the promo bugs on. We had a count of pounds today when we got home and had £120 in the pot so thanks very much to the many pink people who gave generously, see what the scrap man says tomorrow!
Hope you'll be back next year to 'defend your crown' so to speak!!!

Loved the promo bugs idea for anyone who does`nt know their car was covered in tiny furry promo bugs and at signing on they charged £1.00 to guess how many bugs were on the car. Money raised went to charity.
Also thanks to the team member in the red overalls for driving like a true sportsman
And yes we have every intention of coming back to defend the title.
Thanks MLR for a great event.

Absolutely agree with you Simon. Huge respect to the MSOC guys & girls for getting 2 cars ready for the event (just) despite all the gremlins you kept plugging away & didn't give up & although you didn't bring the cars home at least they stayed the course & completed the event.

And no I don't think it will last long.

My cleanest driver of the day award goes to the guy in the red t shirt far right of the picture. Shook his hand and told him so after a real close battle on the track.

That would be Nick "Windowlicker" , he drives his evo like that too...not!! He was probably still in shock after being T-boned by one of the Ross-sport drivers!

WELL DONE FELLA'S

A great weekend and you served our Subaru community well !

We did hear that up to lap 128 we were in 1st place but then our clutch disappeared.
Would have been great to have got a Scooby 1st & 2nd (what ever way around).

Once again well done guys

What a fantastic day we had at the MLR500, and congratulations to The ESC on lifting the coveted winners trophy.

It was all about reliability on the day, and whilst the kentscoobies.com team were giving it 100%, the car lost all drive after 123 laps and about 1 hour 20 mins into the 3 hour event.

It was still a day to remember with a regional Subaru Club winning an MLR event.

A Big Well Done

Your car was storming & a serious contender for a top place. It was a real shame it let you down. I have a video clip of your qualifying lap that I will be putting up soon.
