ok, bit harsh maybe and yeah, bit of a stereotype but Millwall's name does get dragged into alot of crowd trouble doesn't it?

but as i said, both as bad as each other to put football in a bad light on this occasion
I Agree totally they do have a massive reputation, but I think on this ocassion the Hammers fans inside the ground were the ones causing 80% of the trouble.

The same cant be said for outside where it was 50/50.

I assume by this comment that you attended the game, or is this an observation from what the media showed us on the tv and what the press put in the papers.

What the **** does it matter which set of fans caused most of the trouble? That is the whole problem with this sport. Be it on the pitch or off the blinkered mentality of some who follow their club almost like a religion mean they are never in the wrong and everyone else is of course.

Accept the fact that a certain percentage of 'people' who follow this sport are mindless morons and need dealing with properly by the courts as in long hard custodial sentences along with meting out some decent penalties on the clubs involved and we may get somewhere. Until then this will keep happening.

The only good news is I read it may damage our bid for the World Cup - if it means we end up not having thousands of 'fans' engaged in pitched battles on our streets in the name of football then that is no bad thing.
