The worst smell ever?
#32
The reason why you were "told off", I guess by some ecoterroist council, for putting stuff in a placky bag, bio or not, is that it costs waste pocessing centers (Council, rates) money (Or time for sorters to sort or more sorters etc), to remove the waste from the bag. If it is in a bag, it goes to landfill. Too little time to process, given sorters and volume (Remember councils charge you rates, to do, well, almost nothing). The green recycling thing is BS. Conserve yes, but recycle? BS. Put our waste in ONE PLACE so that in time, when we develop technolgy to deal with "waste" (And this is proven), when we can.
But sense has left the eco "debate".

I broke bones in my hand and was told to make a fist around a rubber tube, it was then plastered and left for 6 weeks.
When the plaster was cut off the smell was the worst smell I have ever been subjected too.
Rank, absolutley RANK, that bad you could taste it..
I have broken the same bone twice since the hospital visit (over a period of 10 years) but just left it to heal itself.
I now have an odd looking bump from my wrist to my nuckle on my little finger, apparently its known as a boxers break, and very common.

The breaks didnt hurt at the time, or after TBH, my hand was swollen of a week or two and I could not grip properly.
Having a pot on your hand for 6 weeks, or putting up with a lumpy hand, was an easy choice.
PS. I hate pain as much as anyone else....Im a *****.
Whilst on the subject of smells and pain, that smell of burning decay at the dentist is pretty rank too.

Ahhhh Durian Fruit - That reminds me of a trick played on me years ago when I worked at Roche Pharma in Welwyn Garden City (RIP) One of my colleagues had been on a work trip out east and brought back some dried pieces.
To cut a long story short, I'm up for most things - especially a laugh.
He handed me a BIG chunk of this stuff and told me to hold my nose whilst chewing it for a good few mins and swilling it around my mouth.
I did just that.
Then he pulled my hand away from my nose.
The look on my face had the entire floor plate wetting themselves with laughter.
It was THE single most disgusting smell I have EVER had the misfortune to experience. Dog poo on the end of a garden cane would be like Estee Lauder in comparison to this stuff.
I got my own back though - In a roundabout way.
The guilty party had a habit off putting his pencil in his mouth (rubber end first) when he was planning the next months Rx Production schedules.
Let's just say - His face contorted the next month. Rubbers on the end of pencils were normally pink but he got a brown one

If you have left the green bin for a few weeks then they can get fairly bad.
I saw a guy projectile vomit from one once. I think it had been left for about 4 weeks one hot summer. He used to exhume bodies for a living too.....
I have never been that bad with smells tbh, I can block them off quite easily... but the main smell I hate is cheese crisps.
