Lots of pushing going on and a flood of water. She is pushing for southern England now

Maybe not, just had the third pup. second one a boy and the third one a girl. the last one was 4oz, very big, ouch

I have done all the work lol
I have got serious pain in my back now
One of the pups has something wrong with it, the first one. Its not good. There is something wrong with its spine. The fur wont dry where the neck meets the back.
I am taking it to the vet in the morning.
Lilly is sleeping for a bit as we have another pup to come so the vet said

Just a quick post. Had to have the first pup put to sleep as it has Spina Bifida. It was totally random and not breed specific. We never did get another pup( 4 pups on xray) lol but here are the two we do have
little girl
little boy
mum
Lilly is so good and taken to motherhood like a duck to water.
It was a tough night as i had to feed the sick pup all night as i couldnt bear it to suffer. Its brain was ok and its feet could have been fixed but its spine was too bad. It wasnt meant to be
But everything else is hunky dory
Here is the one that died. She has just been fed here and looked like a Polar Bear

Sorry about the pup Sarah, thats nature for you, at least the other two are healthy, its weird, I have been checking in on this thread like an expectant dad !

It was horrible being the first born. I thought the others were going to be the same. At least she is in doggy heaven now

Sorry to hear about the first one. She looks so cute in that pic.
Don't be too cut up about it. Sometimes its just not meant to be, often more so with the smaller breeds
Good effort on the other two though
and two will be much easier for mum to cope with.
