Scandalous.

Not needed, take a deposit deal done. Unless it burns to the ground.

Here here!

Im welsh and this disgusts me I sell on here and ebay and have 100% feedback on both sites.
Im sorry but a mans word is his bond and as such is judged by his actions.
I work hard to maintain my feedback scores.

I want all of you fellow scoobynetters to know that this behaviour is not common place for welsh members and I think that daz and minty and the other party concerend should compensate yellow evo for the underhanded transaction which has taken place.

We are all supposed to be on here helping each other out not doing underhand scamming!
You lot who are scamming are to the subaru communnity what hitler was to the jews!

I hope you all do the right thing as this was a done deal!

Ok lets clear this up...

First off Daz & Minty have done nothing wrong but use a sensible business attitude to make a sale of their vehicle.
Secondly the IAM the new owner of the car and it works like this - someone makes an offer in this case (Yellowevo) offer accepted on principal and deposit taken. Payment arranged for on collection I presume. Seller waits to hear from the buyer to arrange a time for collection, waits and here's nothing. (this is my understanding)
Meanwhile Buyer 2 (me) for those who can't keep up and trust me reading some of these comments its likely.. Make a counter Offer (e.g. more money more deposit) and a definite action to come and collect.
Seller being business minded and eager to cover cost I'm sure its pause for thought for anyone.
So correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this how the whole buying/selling process works ? Offer's and acceptance, deposits and a small amount of good faith ?
I'm sorry if anyone feels i have done anything underhanded or not in keeping with the SN way. But I saw something I wanted, I made my offer and I stuck to my terms of the deal.

I deeply regret that there was a discrepancy in time and confusion over collection, but this was out of my control.

YellowEvo - I have told Daz and Minty this, and now I'm telling you - I will contribute towards your ferry booking and monetary loss, I don't have too, nor do i need too, but I know what it's like to be out of pocket over a vehicle.

Your welcome to PM me or email with the details and evidence of your booking, if you think Daz and Minty or Myself are handing you a penny out of good faith without seeing proof then you are misguided. (Would you?)

There was NO scamming NO "dodgy deals" and NO intended upset.

So in conclusion there was no cloak and dagger, no one got defrauded. It's Simple someone outbid someone else...it's called trading.
In addition I've been using this site for many years, i have found it a welcoming and friendly place to solve problems and generally interact with fellow enthusiast.

IrishscoobySti - Up the dosage mate its clearly not working out for you...

Thanks for your time

1) Daz and Minty knew of my arrangements but failed to contact me with theyre new intensions it was only by a fluke that I was on this site the nite before my journey and seen your post that you had also bought the vehicle. They had my number but I was never informed of the change.

2) You have said you are willing to help out with the return of the ferry fees once you had recieved evidence of the booking.
You have sent me pms about this and I have furnished you with confirmation letter from Stena with the payment details on it.But not to my surprise this still isnt good enough for you and you say it has nothing to do with you .

3) Daz and Minty have also had these details sent to theyre phone and much to my shock they havent replied.

Be interesting to see the next terms of the refund. What youve asked for has been furnished to you, so get the finger out pay the man which you claim on the thread that you would, and retain a thread of your credibility. You will sleep better for doing the right thing.

well i reckon that settles it. proof given. Up to Daz, Minty and the buyer to settle this and show at least some good faith of pulling out the deal and at minimum, not even having the courtesy to tell yellowevo...

Positive response we shall wait further.
So by your response are you paying yellowevo his expenses? If so you are gaining respect from me

would of been a shame if you travelled all that way and the guy had sold it to someone else without telling you eh?

Its left him out of pocket, yes there paying for the ferry, but what about the trailor he had ready ?

I have to say that it always concerns me when traders advertise cars like its there personal motor and tbh ive seen a few ads from these pair of jokers in that format. Message to D & M so far youve done a lot of damage to your reputation. A piece of advice that quite a few have already stated sort the guy out all of his costs boys its the LEAST you can do. Just for legality this is just my opinion and you can take it or leave it.
