I think alot of people are more curious of what they come out with and how they stand up to questioning, rather than having any actual support for them.
With the exception of a few on here, I'd imagine most people wouldn't actaully support what they are really about. Most people know that they will tone things down to seem acceptable.
However, like it or not, they are an elected party, and whilst most of us will hopefully not fall for their words, they do have a right to speak.

im not a racist, but i moved near bradford from liverpool 16 years ago , i get on with quite a few asians of different religions, but in some of the "asian communites" and some "no white zones" of halifax bradford dewsbury leeds, where ive worked and drove through where and ive tried to cross the road and theyve sped up and swerved at me and other white people (even the tool box talk of the site has warned of problems with natives, !!!) and ive even seen kids playing cut the white mans head off with 12" kitchen blades ,some of you people in the upper class areas might get a different perspective of things if you came into these areas and saw what really went on. how many of you heard of the white men getting stabbed during the bradford riots????. thats what caused 1 or 2 of them!!!! or when they were driving past the pubs throwing bottles and bricks at people calling us white scum for no reason! even the cruises where some white lads have been dragged out of there subarus and had them stolen, you always hear about an asian getting beat up by white racists in the papers but you never hear about the white men. or when there throwing paint over peoples houses to make them move out of the area or robbing the petrol stations of petrol and sticking there fingers up at the cameras and the police dont do anything about it. i drive through some of the towns/ cities near me and feel like a foreigner. i think a lot of the bnp's policies are right for the british people. and so do most of the people i know around here.

It is painfully obvious that situations as described above are what is raising the profile of the BNP. Maybe for some British people the BNP offer a solution to an otherwise impossible situation for them.

Whatever we all think about him and his band, he has demonstrated that he hes some influence with part of the electorate and therefore it can be argued that he has a right to appear on that programme.
It will be interesting to see how he treats his chance to speak and what image he presents to the public.
He is entitled to make his point but not to demonstrate racism or any kind of sedition or encouragement to violence.

This is great news, lets hope he asks the questions of this government that we all want answering.
Such as:
1. Why have we got troops in afganistan when most muslim terrorists are living in places like Blackburn on benefit paid for by us.
2. Why are muslim extremists (also probably on benefit paid for by us) allowed to preach their hatred and insult the soldiers of the realm. They wouldn't allow Lord Haw Haw or Joseph Gorbels do it in 39-45, so how come they get away with it.
3. Why are asylum seekers or economic mygrants with no skills, jobs or money allowed to come into the country and drain the NHS and just about every other service when they have or will not contribute anything.
4. Why do ethnic groups refuse to intregate into our lifestile and culture.
5. Why do some ethnic groups criticise our lifestile and culture, yet have no qualms about making money from it.
6. Why do we invite people to live amongst us that have their own predjuces going back thousands of years and want to resolve them on our streets.
These are just a few i can sit here all night but i haven't got time

Because they present themselves as one thing when in actual fact they are quite another as the secret footage of their meetings and 'call to arms' shows us.
If you look at the Muslim Extremists who stand on our streets preaching death to Westerners then it is abhorrent and there is no way they would be allowed to appear on a programme like Question Time, but at least you know what they stand for.
With Griffin's mob they are cloaking their true intentions or at least some of them so in some ways they are worse than the Muslim extremists mentioned above.
I just feel that if you have some intelligence you can see past their 'acceptable' rhetoric and therefore why would you want to give them the time of day.
