I've got a plan but it's reliant on one key path being open, stealth, luck and the ability to walk off a bit of shoe leather

I think it's just drive into the main Margam Park entrance, there's plenty of parking available and a surprising amount of stage section lower down in the park too.

Yep, as Dean said, there's loads of parking space there and not a long walk really once inside - I'll prob be doing the official route if I go to Shakedown

All the cars are based around the corner from my works this year, on Cardiff docks. Driving out of work today 5 new Evo's came in, in convoy, all in matching yellow liveries, Pirelli cars i think. Looked the bollocks fair play! Then going through the Bute town tunnels i could here something loud coming through behind and the 2 white Volvo's came through on full chat...sounded awesome, almost like the Audi Quattro's of the group B days. How about that to get you in the mood for Rally GB! Just a shame i won't get to see as much this year, i am however getting in a full day sunday.

Petter's leading the shakedown at the mo folks, with Mr Loeb having a 'little' moment and wiping out 12 fence posts in one fail swoop....cosmetic damage only apparently. The pressue is getting to him!!

I'M KNACKERED!!!left Swansea and by 4a.m. i'd already cleared the black mountains (a4069), last minute desision took me to hafren, where a slightly def ear was turned to the car park marshal that wanted me to park a mile or so away from the stage, ended up within 50yds of the stage by the burger van anyway, walked up the stage to a nice S section for the first run through then down to the hairpin for the second, cracking day and fairplay to otsberg and oigeir they aint arf giving it some

I noticed Bonzee had privilege parking about 30ft from the hairpin, also managed to meet up with Taylor at the jump.

Though it was pi**ing down, I'd do it again.

Also some guy got lucky and got Hirvonen's bonnet in perfect condition.

Glad you all have a good time despite the weather, spent a quiet weekend at home here as I prefer my rallies in the sun these days.
