Aggressive Wheels now fitted

Indeed you don't. What arch work did he undergo to fit them under?
I would imagine he rubs a lot with that setup

that Forrester look very mean, love it
i think the crux of this is that running such aggressive set ups has to mean compromising the handling, ride and practicality of the way the car drives and lets not even talk about tyre wear
the flip-side being they look really menacing and have considerably more road presence...i think they look really cool and it's great to see something different, but wouldn't want to have to deal with the reality of running such an aggressive set up. look forward seeing to seeing how the scene develops

Running this sort of setup doesn't really compromise anything.... other than a little bit of comfort, the big bumps are some what exagerated LOL
The handling on my car is incredible but then it does have a lot of money popped in to the handling setup, but it drives like its on rails, love it!!
That Forrester does look amazing, its all good and well having the arches that close etc when you drive on roads that are smoother than silk
Aggressive setup FTW

Hows that a contradiction ? The money was spent on all the suspension etc when I had the Inovite Red lines long before the car was slammed down, and now it is slammed the handling feels better, sharper and more responsive and at no point have I bounced across the road yet.... which proves the point, no you don't compromise your handling when it is this low!

Thought i'd keep you updated and for those not at the Ace Cafe tonight a chance to see it nearly finished.
Spent most of yesterday getting the arches rolled and then playing around with the fitment to check i had eliminated the rubbing.
So far so good. Added a little more drop today, then had to seal the wheels, clean them and wash the car so been flat out.
Excuse crappy iPhone pics
Haters enjoy
Before
After
Parked on slope hence frontal gappage

Well having read this whole thread i gotta say something
Fella your car looks ace with those rims..... and it's nice to see something different on the scooby scene!!!!!!
Everyone is entitled to an opinion....... thats the idea of this forum ain't it??????
If we all agreed on everything, then all our cars would look, handle & perform in the same way............. and that would just be boring!!!

Is it hard to adjust the camber?
I had to get spacers to fit my wheels over the brembos so thought id go for a wide look. think i need to get smaller rears

You'll obviously need some camber bolts to do it.
If your rubbing whilst only running springs then getting coils will only make it worse if you plan on going lower.
I run a spacer on the front (5mm) to clear the Brembo.
If you want to pm me your spec i'll be able to advise where I can
