My Neffy wrap arrived in about a week and I must say its pretty impressive. Its alot easier to handle than real carbon fiber cloth as it has a backing so doesn't fray or pull apart and it does look almost like the real thing. I thought I'd practice on my PS3 before I did anything on the car. Cost about £28 including delivery from the states for a piece 140cm x 91cm. It came folded though so if I was doing a large area I would try and ask for it on a cardboard tube to prevent any creases.

i have a whole sheet of neffywrap for sale, i bought it to do the interior and when it turned up and i started taking things off to do it i lost my bottle and reckoned i would probably just **** it up so the neffy wrap is just sat in my house doing nothing

Think I'll buy some spare interior plastics off eBay when they appear and try and Neffy wrap those.

Thats why I like the Neffy stuff, its not printed or an embossed vinyl. It is an actual woven fabric like carbon is. The embossed stuff looks ok from a distance, but when you get close you can tell its still not real.

embossed is probably the wrong terminology...all I can tell you is that it is textured and it looks far better than I imagined it would. Simon would be able to tell you what it is, I just know it very, very expensive and I think he is the UK's sole distributor

There is a guy on detailing world that sells vinyl CF. I bought a sheet of him to do parts of my 09. I have to say, its some of the most realistic I have seen in a long time. The sheet wasn't that expensive.

You can see it inc a close up on the last page of the 08 / 09 thread in the gallery.

Just an update on this, ended up it getting it done

Got some vinyl work done by Anthony before Xmas.

Was very happy with the results. So i highly recommend him.

Anthonys' number is 07885593506. Him and his partner are just starting this new company but they have experience :bestpal:

A few rubbish shots but sure you get the idea.

This is done by Vinyl Matters near Twickenham. Very good lads at good prices.

Im going back again to get the top of spoiler done to give the over the top look. Also im aiming at getting it laquered also

Dave, I think if you get it laquered correctly you would need to take the screens out to get in to the corners, thats what I had to get done when my roof was painted.

Looks good tho!

Hi Dave
I have been following your thread with interest as I to am a CF nut. Your roof looks excellent and your installer made a beautiful job of it......

My name is Steven and I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I would love to get hold of some of the vinyl product you used on your roof so cover top fin of my rear spoiler. Could you please tell me what it is and where you purchased it from?

Thanks
Steven
