The VF2- series are more fragile than the VF3-. For example, it's okay to run without a dump valve using the VF3-.

So for longevity, best get a 34 (or 35) instead of a 22...

Really??
So with my VF34 I can do away with the dump valvue? I always thought that was a scooby no no?
Altho would it need to be remapped if its taken off or is that not necessary?

Just seen a guy on here seelin a ver 5/6 STi tmic with blanked off dump valve (conversion for earlier models with dump valve in y-pipe). Could use that tmic with my y-pipe and run it with no dump valve...

What about the AVO 400s as an option?

Yep, this is advice from none other than JGM! (from another thread).

I doubt it.

If running WITH the OEM DV it recircs air back into the intake so the ECU, I think, is probably mapped by Subaru to add fuel to match it. If you were to run DV'less, then I think the fuel would still be added, but it'd only be for a second or so while the throttle is shut. I doubt this 'over-fuelling' will affect the pick up when you reapply the throttle... but try it and see. If it runs rough, then simply revert back to the OEM DV-based set-up...

As above - if it don't run rough, then yeah fine.

I have just removed a VF34 from my Car as just had some work done, i have several bits that i'm looking to sell.

The VF34 turbo was on the car for about 11 months so its in really tip top condition, i also have intercooler and other bits.

Call me on my mobile 07983 346250 if you would like to discuss purchase.

Regards
Dave
