Merv car was looking great thought the paint work and engine looked sweet. And very well done. I must say i do like the little badge on your boot, and hopefully i will have something like that soon once mapped.

Cheers mate, I wouldn't have the patience to do the engine work myself!! We've both gone about things different ways with similar results Good effort!! I'm hoping to change the little badge to something beginning with a 5

I've copied the email I received last night for you all to read.
Kev,
Thank you for your kind words and support... without your guys the event would not have been the success it was... please pass on my sincere thanks to every single person who came (drivers and passengers).... and arriving all together was my moment of the day.... today your club made an old man very, very happy.... we must have more days like this.... and I promise you ... we will.......!!!!!!!!!
thanks
Ian
Looks like we have a bit of a problem as the school heads assistant wants to know if he can get anti lag fitted on his Vectra.

Gutted i missed it too, had to work my first Saturday since June. Looks like a good turn out and all the cars looked stunning Hopefully this show will grow and grow. I did see Rob (Pippyrips) "Growling" past me on the A48M, sounding great as ever.
Nice to see Lee's car back on the scene too, looking better than ever! Great achievement building that engine yourself, i'd love to be able to do it! Maybe i'll buy a scoob engine strip it and give it a try.
