about this time last year i was after a JDM bugeye in white.
There were none on the market for sale (worth looking at), so got an importer to look for me, and although he came up with a few they were above budget.
Importer told me partly due to white being a 'lucky' colour in Japan, so the cars go for a premium, and are more likely to be won by locals than importers.
So if that is true, might be the reason why they are scarce.
In the end i went for a common as muck WR blue, but have put my own swing on the car so am very happy

This is a Spec C 'Limited' Aladdin. 2003 model. 1000 units made in either white, red or WR blue. The red is particulary rare. It's 70kg's lighter(1370kg) than the standard sti and not 90kg's like the normal Spec C of this year as it had a few luxuries as Tony has said.... inc. electric folding mirrors, electric windows and a small air con unit. But just change the exhaust system to a s/steel one and you will lose the extra 20kg's again..... awesome car! i should know i have a blue one . i drive it to work every day and it's had all the litchfield type 20 packages and more put on it and i can live with it just fine. oh,, and it is a monster on the track

You can put some burble back. I put single scroll heeaders on mine and haven't rally noticed much difference in spool. Only because there were no uprated twinscroll turbos at the time. Still have kept my original headers though, will just see how the new twinscroll turbos perform!

I'm loving my new to me 04 JDM (and my trusty 96 Sti wagon daily) and like the new roar just as much as the old burble
JDM has so many pluses you shouldn't/wont lose sleep over less burble (it's still there when ticking over)
